God of Science

What is science? Study of laws of nature. A description of the rules that governs the world. Speed, acceleration, force, electricity, magnetism, space are nothing but names given to these laws. June is the youngest physicist to gain Nobel Prize at the age of 25 for inventing a device that converts mass into energy. Due to jealousy he himself becomes the victim of his own invention. His own body gets converted into energy that directly enters his soul. His soul crosses the barrier of life and death and he wakes up in a new body in a totally different world where knowledge is strength and body is the only weapon. June finds himself in the beginning of an ancient era, era of Gods.

For what its worth

This was the concept used by June in his research.

By giving the vibration to the atom, its rotation increases. Faster an atom rotates the more unstable and radioactive it becomes, and its life decreases.

But the thing is, it is always easier to destroy than to create. So, his research mainly focused on creating energy by destroying mass, because it is always easier to spill the water rather than keeping it in rhythmic circular flow.

Well it is actually very similar to the concept of 'drifting' in an automobile. The balance is the feeling most difficult to maintain.

After completing his research paper and its publishing, his next aim was to design a machine that can convert any mass into energy so that it can be used as a never ending renewable resource for the mankind.

When June Rowe won the Nobel Prize for his ground breaking research, he finally got the funding required to make such a machine. It took him three years to finally complete the prototype design for the mass into energy conversion machine.

It required direct power of around five thousand mega watts, which was enough to power a normal large scale town. This kind of energy is produced by combining two large scale hydro-electric power plants.

After all the preparations for the first on site experiment were complete, June was just completing the last inspection of the prototype experiment model, only the final confirmation was remaining. The experiment was due next day which was Sunday.

It was night time, Saturday around ten thirty, the last place that was left for inspection was the core chamber. The core chamber was the most important area of the prototype experiment model. It was precisely the room where the whole process of the experiment was going to take place.

The mass that was to be converted into energy would be kept in the core chamber and all the power of five thousand megawatt units had to be focused into the core chamber. The size of the core chamber was a room of cubic shape of length, breadth and height of five meters. The room was designed in such a way that energy will enter the room from all six sides with equal intensity at the same time.

This room was exactly the last place that June was checking before leaving the experiment site for some rest to prepare for his next big day. There was almost no one left on the experimental site other than the security guards, and a few other personnel.

But then 'that' happened.

While he was in the core chamber room, suddenly the walls started to glow and radiate energy. June had a very bad premonition; he quickly ran towards the door but it was locked from outside. He knew that the power supply had already been connected to the room in preparation for tomorrow's experiment and it would take at exactly five minutes for the walls to completely concentrate the power of five thousand mega watts into the core chamber room, which was exactly where he was standing in.

His whole world flipped upside down. He is but a simple scientist. He had never dealt with any life threatening situations throughout his entire life. This was the first time he was facing this predicament.

His life was spent completely on his research and studies. He was from a very simple household, he completed his studies through scholarship. He has never been in any kind of relationship before, not that he could not find love but rather his research was far more interesting to him.

In normal words he was a genius virgin nerd.

Those were the longest five minutes he has ever been through in his life.

This whole experiment was designed and directed by him and his team. He was not a small child to not understand the consequences that his experiment could bring to this world. He knew that not everyone in this world can happily accept the revolution that his experiments could bring.

Oil, petroleum, automobile, airplanes, weapons, nations, politics everything would change. Maybe this world was not completely ready.

He had an idea what his experiments could lead to but it was not his major concern but exactly at this moment it took him exactly four minutes to completely understand all this which he had ignored throughout his life.

The intensity of energy in the walls was increasing every passing moment, he is not an overly emotional kind of person.

In his last remaining minute, he slowly walked towards the center of the room and stood silently, a little genuine smile hung on his face as if silently mocking the whole world, his last whisper slowly left his mouth.

"For what it's worth, let's see if God exists".
