White Torch College - Chapter 6

The huge man speaks in an angry tone. If his voice were capable of killing, the blonde young woman would die a hundred times.

"I am the father of Elaine. You defiled my girl and then left her. She killed herself because of you. I am going to kill you !"

The hulking man speaks in an angry tone at first, and then his voice and tone turn into a sad tone as he speaks about the death of his daughter.

The young man takes a deep breath.

He is a womanizer and likes to have fun with poor and commoner girls, but he still does not want them to keep dying or killing themselves.

"This is a problem," the blonde young man thought in his mind.

At that time, a different voice sounded out. After asking a question, the father of the girl killed herself.

"Why is your daughter with this young man?"

The huge man looks at Arden and then answers.

Arden smiles again and then shakes his head as he asks again.

A silence starts in the whole tavern; this time everybody is interested in the events unfolding.

The huge man answered. The blonde young man and his friends said nothing as they waited calmly.

Arden took a sip of his beer and answered.

"I know, these kids are from White Torch College, a college that specializes in magic involving fire and control law. Everybody in this small town knows that every mage is special and, most of the time, rich and has more status than nobles.

Arden smiles as he looks at the face of the huge man and then at the young men.

Your daughter believed, "that she was going to have a good life by making this young man fall in love with her."

"If you have something to gain from a relationship that is intimate in nature, then other people can too have the same expectations in their mind."

Arden finishes his words.

He does not care about these simple things.

But he could not help but say these things.

At that time, the vines around the man slowly backed down, and the huge man looked calmed down.

The young man looks at the huge man and speaks.

"I am sorry for your daughter's death. I certainly did not expect something like this to happen".

The huge man looks at the young man and lets out a cold breath.

Saying nothing, he leaves the tavern without looking back.

At that time, the young man looks at Arden and starts talking.

He uses a respectful and kind tone with Arden.

" Thank you for your help if not the things could get even worse."

Arden puts his index finger to his chin and speaks as he takes a sip of his beer again.

"Do not get me wrong. I do not take your side or that of the huge man. It is just that old man who tried to put all the blame on you that I interrupted. "

"Next time, choose your target from more upper-level families. The more things a person has, the more things they have to lose. They would not be killing themselves for simple reasons. "
