"Attack him!" Olivia yelled, her voice filled with a warped sense of justice.
Sebastian emerged from the smoke coughing, his demonic form a bit worse for wear. He saw the monstrous bee hurtling towards him and reacted with practiced ease.
His obsidian dagger, slick with black fire, met the bee's barbed stinger in a clash of steel and bone.
Clank! The impact resonated through the battlefield, but Sebastian held firm. However, the bee didn't stop. With a buzzing fury, it self-detonated in a blinding flash.
Boom! The resulting explosion ripped through the air, sending shockwaves that pummeled Sebastian and everyone else watching. The smoke and debris from the explosion engulfed the battlefield, obscuring the combatants from view.
A tense silence descended, broken only by the crackling embers of the storm and the ragged breaths of the heroes who watched with bated breath.
