Too Easy?

"Brother, their cannons have finished reloading," Anna reported after receiving news from her butterfly observation.

To be honest, I've been holding to sending her to the enemy's wall to disturb them from attacking us, but I wanted everyone here to get a fair share of action. Except for Althea maybe, but Chiya did the jobs for me.

My mother once said that at the higher rank of Guild's blessing, a lot of support combat class will be able to easily take down lesser monsters like Uhndak, this includes Ina Waraney.

But then came the question, "we haven't got any blessing yet, so why would I want to send her alone into the enemy line?" Well, even as a female she's still a Shaper, we have an advantage regarding our strength in lifting things.

Anna can just easily throw all the Uhndaks on the wall to our side, then let Hada and I finish them. But like I said before, I want everyone to contribute to this orientation, especially for our 2 Sky Scientists who didn't grow up in a military environment.

However, seeing those cannons, that now are loaded and protected by chaos shields, I'm tempted to just send her to disturb them. Unless…

"Revian, charge to those cannons! We walk through the wall this time." I ordered the dragon.

"Understood, Your Highness."

Still walking on four legs, Revian then struck the palisade hard with the side of his body. All those wood stakes fly erratically into the sky, along with the manned cannons and all their crews.

We could see all the remaining Uhndaks staring at us in panic after realizing our breakthrough. They quickly raised their weapons, pointing sharply towards us. Unfortunately for them, Revian is now standing in their midst, and he… didn't have any intention to let them touch us.

The beast screamed madness, taunting all of our enemies with the gift his family gained from the blessing of the God of War Himself, [Absolute Provoke]. No one can ignore his call, no matter how strong-willed they are.

I could feel the ground tremble just from their step, along with the clanking sound of a giant iron club being dragged, scratching the soil behind them.

"Smite the sky!" It was my first time hearing Hazana being this loud, but the look on her face showed just how terrified she was.

Two Butos walking towards Revian, and they're huge I tell you.

Both are taller than the Draconus even if those dragons are standing straight. Their skin is charcoal black, with maroon markings all over their body. Their eyes are round and glowing red, with 4 giant fangs at the top and bottom of their mouth.

The two Butos begin raising their weapons high, ready to strike Revian who is still in his four-legged form.

The smash club with no hesitation, pounding vicious noise from the moment Revian took the beating. His Kokkradrium scale kept his body from tearing apart or even scratched, but by how hard they hit, and how far he got knocked, anyone can feel the immense amount of pain just by witnessing it.

"Revian! Back to your human form!" I yelled.

"Understood, Your Highness." He didn't pant throughout his answer, even calling him a man of steel would probably still sound degrading.

Although no bigger than the Butos, by standing on two legs he will be able to control his stance more, as well as the flow of his [Parisai Naga], dragon shield.

Meanwhile, I could see a bunch of pink-coated Kokkradrium attached to his body, by all means, Althea is currently healing him right now.

Buto is a Chaos Taanji, their attack will ruin the stability of their opponent's body. It's clear to the eyes that Althea's healing seems to be slower than usual.

The two giants start swinging their iron club at Revian again, *pound!* only this time the dragon manages to hold them with his holy diamond-powered shield.

"We need to act! Hada, Falisha, Hazana take care of the smaller Uhndaks, the rest, we fought the two Butos over there!" I behested.

"Will do!"

"Understood!"

They replied and began running to their positions.

While Hada and his side are busy butchering all the Uhndaks, Chiya then called upon her [Spiked Whip] and whipped it to the ground. Three large dark purple-colored circles now spawned under her and the two butos, glowing in a wave as if it were about to engulf their feet.

Suddenly, various chains began to appear around Chiya and started to wrap around her body as tight as they possibly could. They moved faster and faster as if they're spinning on a cog. Dark purple light shone brightly from them, coating Chiya's entirety compactly.

A glowing dark purple mark draws itself on the Butos body, radiating a negative aura that makes them look weaker and paler.

"They're vulnerable now Your Highness!" Chiya shouted from where she stood with a big smile on her face. Though the chain was already long gone from her body, I could still see the traces of the coils in her smooth ashen skin.

"Alright!" I replied while preparing my stance.

From the moment I gave the order, Anna already started planting her bullets at both of the giants, drawing butterfly locks at as many spots as possible.

Now all is left is for me to finish the Butos at the same time, and my [Santi] is now already scorching hot, hungry for its prey.

I launched myself, blasted with fire running along my strike. By the time I slashed one Buto, my blade instantly move to the other, ripping them at the same time.

Like most of our lock and key combination, hundreds of cuts follow after, shredding their entire body, spurting blood like a fountain.

I knew killing a giant like Buto is my and Anna's specialties, but I didn't think cutting their flesh would feel that… tender.

"We also finished here!" Hada shouted his report, meaning we succeeded in clearing the camp.

Honestly, I couldn't agree more. Taanji in Selebes has always been so wild and deadly, this, on the other hand… felt just like fighting some Ocean Army, only on a smaller scale.

All of a sudden, the air tensed like solid, sending shivers all over my spines, suppressing me from grasping for breath. This feeling of uneasiness began to bother me with bad thoughts. Only 2 types can ruin the atmosphere density, and this one is too weak to be coming from a God.

7 black circles, covered in white mist spawned near us, drawing air and dust running into them. There's no mistaking it, all of it is a portal and the kind that I did not yet wish to encounter.

I failed to realize that one of them appear right beside Hazana, and by the time I noticed it, it was already too late.

An image of a man came out of the portal, with a pseudo-black body, shaped like a solid mist. His eyes were colored pure white, glowed ever so bright, yet anyone could see nothing but void inside it. He raised a sword high while standing right in front of my electro teammate.

"Shit! Hazana!"

I dashed, launching myself as fast as I can, grabbing the girl to take her far away from the upcoming danger brought by that man.

*Swing!*

Right when I began carrying her, the man slashed my arm clean with the power from the void, dismembering that limb from my body.

"Ack—"

It caught me off guard, ruined my stability. I who was not prepared to burden myself with only one hand fell to the ground, bringing Hazana whom I just carried along with me.

The void person walks towards us, with his sword ready to finish what he started. But when he swung it for the second time, a giant fire shield fell from the air, blocking it from reaching us.

"Your Highness!"

Sir Mahanta came to our rescue. But at this time, the other six already emerged from their portal, and they stared at us, filled with murderous intent.
