Scorpiotan

Piles of kokkradrium sculptures began growing on Chiya's hands like flowers blooming at the start of spring. Her every wound began to heal up as if they're never hurt to begin with.

"Looks like Althea will be dealing with you a lot if this is how you use your skills…" I said to the ashen Lady with a sigh.

If my eyes didn't deceive me, her wounds were actually healing themselves, before Althea even intervene. Though it's probably because of her high vitality. Either way, the rate is too slow for Althea's standard, someone with streams of Sap of Life in their blood.

"Hehe~ thanks, girl!" She shouted happily to Althea and got replied with an adorable smile as a welcoming sign of the beast.

"Hmm… I didn't see any Buto or Scorpiotan around." Suddenly said Hada, savaging the camp with his two eyes.

"They're at the center of this camp Your Grace," Revian spontaneously replied while still on his beast form.

"How many layers of walls are there?" The ice bro asked.

"Three, including the one we just destroyed." The dragon answered.

"Then let us move, better not waste time with idle chatter."

Following my command, the team started running towards the next gate, guided by the dragon twins as they surf through soil and dirt.

Even after breaching the gate, there were still many Uhndak presents at this camp. Those fucker tried to get rid of us and began appearing from the top of the second wall with their maniac ass smirk.

Hazana notices them and called her staff (long stick, not employee) from her personal dimension. Her eyes and weapon started glowing brightly while bathed in violet electricity. She fluidly danced her finger through the wind of magic, with each of them targeting all the seen Uhndaks and planting a mark above their heads.

"(Rose Shackles)"

"Banda Rosa!"

Viciously she tapped the base of her staff into the ground, barking a wave of sound that echoes to the entire camp.

All of a sudden violet-colored electric circles started popping under all the marked targets and rose stem-shaped lightning began growing from bottom to top, restraining them tightly with thorn and smite.

The Uhndaks once again failed to attack us. On the other hand, our team followed up the lead she gave to us and struck them without a tiny bit of hesitation. Hazana's magic is so eye-catchy, it's hard to ignore them.

"Nice call there Hazana!" I loudly complimented her, she'll be needing a lot of them to build her confidence. Her in the Class 1 must not be a coincidence, she must be a really good mage to be here with us.

"Thank you… Your Highness." She's a bit red and her gaze was lowered. I'm glad she's happy to accept it.

With Hazana beautifully opening our advance, Hada and I then cleared the disabled enemies on the wall, following our role as DPS. We continued our march to the gate of the second layer.

Uhndak are now pretty much no longer a threat to us, especially since they only attacked in a small number each time. If only they're smart enough to gather everyone in this camp and start showering us, they might actually be able to throw us out of this place of theirs.

"Hit it!"

Revian obeyed and demolished the second gate not long after. Unlike before, there's no enemy to greet us behind it. We rushed through the smoke and dust fuming from the shattered gate, walking as assertive as ever.

But when they cease to exist, we can see numbers of Taanji already lined up heavily on our right side. Among them are Scorpiotan, four-legged dinosaur-like Taanji with a spike on their tail, armed with a huge crossbow mounted on their back. Those giant bolts were already loaded and aimed by the Uhndak rider straightly at us.

At the same time, above the third wall cannons coated with maroon light screamed as if they wanted to puke their entire guts at us as soon as they got the chance.

"What a warm welcome~" Said Chiya jokingly.

Falisha quickly called all her Ice Hornbill to protect us, now with newly forged shields that aren't cracking. Still, I don't think it can protect us all, especially with all those chaos blessed cannons.

*Thump!*

All of those machines of war thumped, shooting their balls and arrows viciously at us. With haste Revian formed his metal scales into a giant wall to try to cover us, fearing the failure of those mirror shields.

I mean he's consensually destroyed the gate, he must have a plan to protect us right? The two dragons could easily spot the enemies with their vision.

*Crash!*

I could hear all those projectiles hitting something, along with the sound of shattering ice. But when I look closely, none of the Hornbills fell from their grace.

A row of ice armored giant gorillas stood gallantly, blocking every inch of attacks with a large ice shield on their hands that had been partially gnawed away by the attacks of the Taanjis.

They may be not as tall as Althea, but they're bigger than any Dubalang I knew (Draconus not included).

"Let's go, brother!" Falisha yelled.

"On it!"

Hada drew his [Bara] high, forming his stance with his blade pointed at the Scorpiotans. Crystals of ice started gathering around him, coating his blade whole, colder than any stone.

All the Ice Hornbill began lining up close to each other with their mirror attached to one another and facing the enemy up ahead. As the army was ready, Hada chanted his magic words.

[Ice Magic]

[6th level]

"(Icy Half Moon)"

"Isserap Paro!"

With full force Hada slashed his sword vertically, swiping his front as if he purposely hitting the air. The ice twin's eyes glowed, and so the mirror the Hornbills were carrying.

Feathery cyan light crowded the space between them and the enemy. The atmosphere turned frosty and heavy as if time is about to stop ticking.

The knife holder among Uhndak realized the condition won't be good for them, so he quickly called beams of maroon light at the front of the Scorpiotans and shaped them into chaos shields.

"Perish!"

Hada Screamed and a wave of ice energy spread from the mirror shield, shaped like a half-moon, turning the winter battlefield even colder than it's already is.

All the chaos shield instantly shattered, hit by cruel frostbite which crumbles their entireties. The attack was successfully blocked, but now the Scorpiatan are no longer protected, exposed to the outside world.

This is the synergy that Hada and Falisha had, all the animal elementals that summoned by Falisha usually carry a shield or wear a flat-shaped armor, and Hada can transfer his attack through them.

His magic then, either multiplies or intensifies depending on the formation of the summoned animals.

*Bang! Bang! Bang!*

Hundreds of hot leads suddenly rain toward all the Scorpiotans' bodies, and butterfly lock tattoos begin to draw themselves in the spot where they hit.

*Slash!*

I drive just a blink later, shredded their thick skin with my blazing [Santi]. Hundreds of copies of slashes then struck themselves, ravaging those creatures unexpectedly in pains of a hundred cuts.

"Target down! Move on lads!"
