As everyone got situated and ready to "watch" all that had happened in the 15,000 years, Tristan paused before turning to everyone and spoke.
"Before I tun on the T.V, I felt it would be nice if i told you all what to expect out of the humans of Saxonia."
"I was hoping you would do this since I didn't really see much of them during the fast forward." said Jeremiah
"Yes, it would be nice to learn more about the Humans since they fall under my authority." nodded Cedric
"Great, First things first, lifespan. Due to the immense amount of mana on Saxonia, the humans have adapted and evolved to where they naturally have mana within them, even more so than other races, in turn this led to the humans now having a lifespan of 200+ years give or take a decade."
"Next, their connection to mana is way higher than other races due to their unique biology, however, that doesn't make them stupidly overpowered, in all actuality, a 3rd tier mage or aura knight (aura user has been changed to aura knight and mana user to mage for more simplicity) human is as strong as a 1st tier Terran. This gap in power is mostly due to the face that human's bodies are weaker than other races, plus, due to their "short" lifespan, i made it to where they can advance way faster than the long-lived races but at the cost of the power that the other races would get at that same stage."
"This balance system of sorts is also why Terrans have yet to break past the 10th tier, another example would be how 6th tier Terran aura knights are able to use their mana outside of their body but for humans that ability only unlocks after they reach the 8th tier."
"The last change that happened from mana is some humans gained what's called a "Bloodline". These "bloodline powers" range from things like more dense mana to even more sensitivity to mana, or they can make you better at a certain thing like fighting with aura or conjuring magic or even just make it to where a certain skill or spell is inherited from father to child, for example a bloodline power could be an inherent mastery in swordsmanship or using any other kind of weapon." explained Tristan
"I hear you specifically mention "Father to child" why specifically father?" asked Sofia
"Ah yes let me explain, you see, for some unknown reason, the chance for a father to pass on a bloodline power to their children is 90 percent, while for a mom to pass her bloodline power, it is only a 10 percent chance."
"As you can imagine I'm sure there will later be issues with inbreeding and mini eugenics projects but hopefully that is later down the line, I just hope it never gets to Habsburg levels" said Tristan while chuckling
"How do you not know the reason for how bloodline powers are past down?" asked Sofia who was confused at how her almighty father doesn't know why something he created happens.
"Haha, you see, this was a natural mutation that happened without my knowledge, I created a gene that would lay dormant within every human that once activated would give them either a random power, talent, or benefit in general, but on some rare occasions, the power granted would have to do with survival and the factors around the person who awakens the gene."
"So, the way I programmed a HUGE number of powers into the gene was I created a "Godly Simulation Software" or the GSS."
The GSS would be a separate dimension that I could fully control down to the last atom where i would do my experiments and other things that I find interesting, I've actually got a vault of an enormous amount of creature and monster templates just sitting there on a shelf within books that are categorized between species and even further between bi-pedal and non-bi-pedal."
"Just how long did you spend in that other dimension?" asked Jeremiah with a surprised face
"Uh, about I don't know... 5,000 or so years." said Tristan while rubbing the back of his head and chuckling
This new info left everyone there with a dumbfounded expression.
"Whatever let's move on, but i do have one more question." said Sofia with a sigh
"Shoot."
"Do these bloodline powers affect the physical appearances of the humans?" Asked Sofia
"I am glad you asked that, and the answer is yes and no."
He could notice that there was visible confusion plastered all over the faces of everyone, so Tristan went ahead and elaborated.
"Let me explain." chuckled Tristan
"Here is an example, say there are two people with the same bloodline power, but they are not related, one could have the power but there is no special physical component that comes with the bloodline, while the other person can have said blue hair, and this is a feature that is apparent in all of the descendants who inherit the power."
"Hair color isn't the only thing that can be connect to a bloodline however, eye color, height, and muscle mass are also things that can be inherited alongside a bloodline power." explained Tristan
"Now, I think that is everything, if anything else comes to mind later I'll tell you." said Tristan while clasping his hands
As Tristan was about to reach for the remote, Cedric decided to ask a question that he had just thought of.
"Excuse me, father, can I ask a shameless request?" said Cedric a little nervously
"Haha, of course you can, don't worry, I won't bite." laughed Tristan
"Oh god, did I just say a dad joke, what the hell!" screamed Tristan in his mind
All though he was a little taken aback by the fleeting expression of panic on Tristans face, Cedric went ahead and asked his request.
"Um, I was wondering, before we see what happened within the human continent, c-could you turn back time to the beginning for the humans so i can go down and observe them to get a better picture of my people, and m-maybe even interfere in their lives occasionally?" asked Cedric with a slight studder
The reason the brave and valiant God of War and Honor was so nervous was due to his immense respect for his father and creator.
Because of his domains, and also simply because of his human qualities also, he respects those who are strong, even more so, he respects those who are brave and show honor at all times, he also likes those who are riotous beyond doubt.
But don't think of him as some goody to shoos who doesn't like killing and believes everyone gets a second chance, although he is the God of Honor, just as equally he is the God of War, so he will smite those who he deems worthy of his sword.
Back on topic, due to Tristans limitless power and his nature which Cedric can discern through his domain, the young god has grown a gigantic amount of respect for the man he calls father.
So, in that respect, he feels he is inconveniencing Tristan with his self-proclaimed absurd request.
Oh, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
"Thank you for requesting that, Cedric, to be honest i have been looking for a valid excuse to rewind time on all of the continents besides the Lupin Supercontinent and the Terran continent."
"I feel it would be better for all of the gods to have a fair chance at observing and ushering their people in a direction they see fit. Of course, that doesn't mean I am going to allow you to baby the humans and hold their hand through the millennia. You as well as the rest of the gods will only be allowed to nudge them in a certain direction unless you have asked permission from me."
"Do you understand?" said Tristan with a stern yet calm voice
Without even a second of hesitation, Cedric immediately agreed.
"Yes, yes of course father, thank you!" said Cedric while taking a knightly knee
"Hahaha, get up Cedric, there is no need for you to kneel before me, you are my s-son Afterall." stuttered Tristan with an awkward laugh.
It would seem he still hasn't gotten used to being a father.
...
With that over with, Tristan decided to immediately get to work.
Although it would've been nice if he could "rewind" all of the chosen continents all at once, the reality of it was he just wasn't proficient enough to do such a precise rewind.
So, instead of trying and running the risk of messing up the whole planet, Tristan chose to rewind one continent at a time.
"Alright, since it was Cedric who asked and gave me a good reason to do this, let's start with the human continent."
Tristan then proceeded to exit his personal dimension and fly into the atmosphere and further towards the human continent, he really wanted to be sure he didn't mess this up.
While he may be able to easily speed up and slow down the time flow of the planet of Saxonia as a whole, it was another story when it came to a separate area on the surface.
Speeding up the time flow and even reversing it for the whole planet was easy since it was the only planet in existence at the moment, but it would be way harder in this instance considering he had to isolate the continent he chose, and he would need to be in constant control over the whole space around the area of effect.
Before he rewound time for the human continent, Tristan decided to use his know dubbed "gods eyes" and see what kind of era the human race was in and how much they developed without any divine intervention.
...
After a few hours of scanning the whole continent Tristan was disappointed to say the least.
After 15,000 years Tristan would've expected more out of the humans considering how fast they developed on earth.
Much to his disappointment, the humans had barely discovered tin and copper, they hadn't even mastered metallurgy enough to where they could create bronze.
Tristan was confused on why it took them so long to first of all find the components of bronze, but secondly, he was baffled at how little inspiration and motivation they have towards advancing metallurgy.
Deciding to find out why this happened, Tristan quickly popped into his office and sat down at the computer and skimmed through the history of what he now calls the "first humans".
Tristan had finally finished skimming through after an hour and a half or so, what he found did explain the reason for slow innovation, but it still left him displeased.
What he had found out was mana was the biggest problem when it came to innovation.
during those 15,000 years that the first humans ruled, conflicts were plentiful, and peace was scarce.
Usually, warfare would usher in major technological advances, just look at earth for example, humans on earth started experimenting with metallurgy not only as a way to make better tools, but mainly to find a better way to kill whomever they wished to die.
That however was not the case for Saxonian humans.
Due to the existence of magic and aura, humans didn't need to start and arms race for better weapons, instead, they started a race for who could perfect the art of mana or aura, and whoever was the strongest naturally ruled.
It really was the law of the jungle out there, oppression was rampant, slaves were plentiful, and lords sat up in their surprisingly well-made castles while the common people were made to work in the fields and fill the coffers and bellies of their noble overlords.
Kings and Emperors were even worse, while you had the occasional good ruler and even noble, the bad outweighed the good by a ton.
Rulers would exploit not only their people but even the nobles themselves.
It was just another Tuesday that a mad king would end a noble house and take their lands, over the years many noble houses and even dynasties went extinct.
Even worse were the religious zealots who fought "holy wars" in the name of false gods.
Whole kingdoms would suffer the wrath of the "Holy Flames of Justice".
Over all the humans had developed very badly, and Tristan had no idea why.
It was like a dark cloud was constantly hovering over the human continent.
Deciding that he had seen enough of this continent and its people, Tristan made a decision that truthfully was filled with wrath, but nonetheless had to be done.
Instead of just giving the "First humans" a second chance, Tristan decided to take a page out of the zealot's book, he would rain holy fire down upon the creatures' called humans.
Without even so much as a warning, Tristan started to invoke meteors and giant balls of flame with his power of creation and with one downward swipe of his hand, the "Great Cataclysm" had begun.
...
After an hour or so of destruction and death, the human continent had been thoroughly wiped clean of any mark that showed people used to live there
Although he stands by his decision of restarting with the humans, at the same time he does realize he might've gone overboard.
"I can't believe I broke the continent like this." chuckled Tristan while rubbing the back of his head
Tristan had in all actuality broken the continent, what used to be one connected landmass, was now a main continent with four separate islands around it, 2 of which could be called sub-continents in their own right.
Now that the flames and dust had settled, Tristan quickly used his power to regrow the plant life and make it even more lush and plentiful, he also shuffled around the ore deposits and added a couple to the new "Major Islands" as he liked to call them.
After that he went ahead and started distributing the new and improved humans all around the continent and on the new islands, however, he did leave all of the smaller islands left uninhabited just so he can see what the humans of this world do in a colonization situation.
Once he had carefully disrupted pockets of humans as tribes, he went to the last spot he needed to populate, and that is the southern island and the left island of the "Twin Isles".
This island would be a particularly rough area to live in due to the volume of animals and magic beasts that inhabit it, so, taking that into account, Tristan placed down one human as the leader of one of the few tribes of the island and gave him a unique dormant bloodline gene.
Tristan also gave the man special physical features that would be inherited down the line by his descendants.
First, he gave the man a naturally strong body and also gave his body an innate talent for mana and aura training.
Next, he gave the man an electric blue eye color that almost seemed to glow, after that he gave him light silver hair that had a unique shine to it (Similar to the Targaryen or Geralt of Rivia hair color).
As a counter measure to make sure no "Keeping the blood pure" happens, Tristan made it to where, the hair and eye color are dominant traits and have a high chance of being passed to offspring, that is, until either the man or one of his descendants awaken the bloodline.
Once the gene is activated then the hair and eye color will be connected to the bloodline power.
Tristan made sure to make a mental note to keep an eye on this guy and his descendants.
...
After a long time of rewinding and making sure everything was good and ready, Tristan headed back into his dimension so he could fetch Cedric.
"Hey Cedric, I rewound the human, continent, are you ready to go in?"
"If you ever want a break just message me mentally with your divine power and ill either pause or slow down the time flow on the continent."
After a quick talk Cedric went down and Tristan started the time acceleration.
"~yawn~ how long was i gone for?" asked Tristan while stretching
"About a century or so." replied Jeremiah
"Oh, that's not ba-"
". . . . ."
"What!" yelled Tristan
"Yup, it took you quite a while but hey who cares right, i mean, you are over 10,000 years old now technically."
"Sigh, I guess you are right." exclaimed Tristan
"Oh look, Cedric's back already, jeez, just how fast did you set the time dilation?" joked Jeremiah
Once Cedric got back and situated, everyone came back in to the "viewing area" and sat down and Tristan started the "all seeing T.V".
