Given the vastness of the Great Canopy Country, flying beasts were an incredibly useful form of transportation, making their training especially important. Everyone wanted to have a flying pet, as walking thousands of miles by foot was not the best way to get around. The best pets were those that could be used for both traveling and battle, such as the four-winged flying leopard. Despite the demand, flying pets and their trainers were rare. Bobby was right in thinking that pretending to be a beast tamer would make him popular.
