It was Monday. The day when I would be starting the phase of life which I still get chills of. In my last life, I was a bright student but the constant torment and bullying pushed me off, and in the end, I never graduated from high school. Those who bullied me once were my friends so some of my secrets were getting targeted specifically.
From that day I swear to myself that I would never trust a person completely and not in a single chance would ever tell them my secrets. People are assholes so do I have to become.
Back to the present...
After wearing the school uniform which basically consisted of a grey coat with a white shirt and black trousers. A black tie around the neck made the whole attire look complimenting. It seriously didn't look like I was attending school but some ceremony or sort.
I checked myself up to down and after putting some random stuff, since I didn't have my books yet, inside my bag, I went out. I already had breakfast with the ladies so I just have to walk with Dayun to school.
Coming down I spotted Ajumma and Dayun waiting for me near the staircase.
"Ah, Ijin. The uniform looks great on you." The compliment coming from such a beautiful woman caught me off guard but maintaining my poker face I nodded.
"Here. I forgot to give this to you yesterday..."Handing me a box that surely contained a smartphone she spoke again," I dont know what young people like these days so I just bought whatever was famous." She brought her hand on her waist as she laughed in embarrassment.
"It's the most trending one and has the various advance features, aunt." Dayun stated the fact on which I looked toward ajumma in surprise. I sure knew this company but the phone specs were foreign to me.
"Oh is it. Well, if you want I can buy it for you too." Ajumma said with a nod making Dayun flustered.
"No...no. My phone is in great condition." The topic soon died down as I spoke to ajumma.
"Thank you ajumma for this." I sincerely thanked her with an uncontrollable smile forming on my face. Ajumma saw this and stepped forward before wrapping her hand around me.
'She smells nice...'
"It's okay Ijin. You are family...so dont thank me for stuff like this. Just remember to put our contacts as soon as possible okay?" I hummed before she let go of me. Well, it did feel lonely for some reason but I wouldn't point it out for now.
"Okay then off you go, guys." Since Ajumma leave around 9, I and Dayun left for school leaving her behind in the house. The weather was pleasant and the walk seemed even more calming. The morning silence and some chit-chat with Dayun in between already made my day.
Since the school was only half a kilometer away we didn't walk for long before reaching the school.
"Okay, then Oppa. I will meet you at the gate after school." Dayun left me at the principal office before walking away toward her class. It was good that we were early today as there wasnt any students in the school. Unnecessary attention was something that has started bothering me but I couldn't help it. There were numerous things I have to get used to which include this extraordinary look of mine too.
The principal kept on chatting for a long trying to make me confess about my life until now and give him the topic to gossip about but I was an expert in dodging topics. There wasnt any chance to tell him about the hellish training and battles I have gone through before Major Kang Hamchan traced my family and sent me back.
'I should contact him too...' Remembering the protective and all-time worrying Major, a smile formed on my face as I made a mental note to contact the big guy after school.
Soon a teacher came to fetch me and directed me toward my class which was on a different floor. I didn't find it amusing how the teacher was staring at me but again....can I help it?
[3-2]
The students were silenced upon our arrival as we walked toward the podium. It was weird how they went from annoying to dead silent in a blink.
"Good morning class. He will be joining us starting today." A sudden gasp resounded in the class while I eyed the whole room. I was anxious but looking at their expression it faded away.
"He was living abroad for a long time due to some personal reasons so do help him to get used to his life." As she stopped talking quite a commotion was created. Various people mumbling and muttering reached my ears. These compliments generally contained how handsome and hot I was.
I would be lying to say that I wasnt happy to get complimented but the excitement I felt on the first day had already started dying down and I was sure in a week or two I would ignore all this like it was natural.
'It seems Ijin's personality is syncing with me slowly...'
"You see that empty seat back there? Go ahead and sit down." I nodded before I walked away. From my memory, the curly head should be waiting to trip me over somewhere in the way but...
'What the heck?' I was flabbergasted as I didn't see three major characters of the manhwa in the classroom. Recalling the memory, I didn't see them at all when I was surveying the class some seconds ago too.
'Did they got nerfed for nothing..? I didn't ponder on that for long and continued walking toward my destined desk. After putting the bag I looked toward my neighbor who had her head draped over her desk since I came inside.
"Hello." I tried to greet her but the response never traveled back. I didn't bothered with her much before settling down. The character beside me was undoubtedly weird. She never moved in the class and kept on...well sleeping I guess all the time.
The class was something I didn't find hard to understand as I said I was a bright student. There were elements that I found new which helped the time to pass rather quickly than I expected.
It was slightly weird that I never found those three boys which became Ijin's friends in the class but I knew this world was altered, a living proof was the existence of my ajumma. Except for the girl beside me who still was lying like a log, no one seemed to stand out nor did any other fictional character I could recognize.
There would be two characters who could be joining the school in two days if only they also didn't get nerfed. I didn't have anything concerning with them, even of them is a top-class beauty, but I had to take precautions about the secrets of my past from others. I know my past is highly secured but I wasnt sure whether my relation to Major Kang could be kept hidden or not.
Soon the class ended with the teacher collecting the material and was about to leave the class when she looked at me for a brief moment before shifting it toward the sleepy head beside me.
"Student Soo-Ah Cha." Undoubtedly she was calling the raven-haired girl beside me but her name threw me into a dilemma for a moment before the clouds of my mind faded away as soon I saw her face.
Shoulder-length hair with blue irises made her look beautiful in her own right. A slight baby face but with an annoying mood, she looked like a dominatrix ready to devour. Her neck was slim which looked more defined because of her hair and body figure.
After checking her out thoroughly within a second I felt my world flipping upside down. She was indeed a character from another manhwa but that, didn't make me freeze.
In actuality, I had a crush on her since I saw her in the manhwa. It was quite looser like thing to fall in love with a none existing girl but I fell for her hopelessly.
I know I would sound contradicting when I say it. But she had every aspect I love in a girl. The perfect bust with short hair. Her eyes and legs seemed like the girl I could worship wholeheartedly and looking at her real it seemed like worshipping wouldn't be enough.
She was mesmerizing...
(A/N: Sorry for the lovestuck MC but he is what he is.)
"Since you have slept all the way through entire class, you will have to show the school to the new student. And yeah try to be diligent about it or 50 apology letters would be on way." After what seemed like an eternity, the world started moving again as I heard our teacher instructing my neighbor about something which I wasnt able to hear clearly.
But whatever it was, it made the angry-looking girl shake in fret as she nodded vigorously. Her each movement gave a great thump to my heart. However, it seemed Ijin personality helped me a lot that's why I never felt like staring at her like a fan but just as a curious onlooker.
Before the teacher left I collected myself and looked forward.
"Hey, new guy." I heard her voice before I looked toward her without any change of expression.
"Hmm?"
"Come with me during lunch." I raised my brows.
"But where?" I was genuinely surprised about what she was asking me for.
"Didn't you hear that hag just now?" She had a look of annoyance again as she asked with her voice slightly hissed. I was amused by her antics which felt like a child's tantrum.
"No, I was focused on you all the time." It was unintentional I swear but before I could stop my actual thought blurted out.
She didn't speak nor shied away like every other girl I have talked to until now but just changed her expression from annoyed to confused or maybe surprised.
"So you are the chap one type huh. Not bad you might entangle one or two hoes around but not me babe. I am not into this kind of play." Her attitude was something which I got surprised about but nonetheless, I replied.
"It's okay. I am not a skirt chaser so you can rest assured and for the previous question." I stood up from my seat before I spoke again," I do have a sister in the school so you dont have to bother with that. "
_____________..._____________
The class soon resumed and not so long after lunch break arrived. My neighbor didn't speak a single word after that but once in a while, I could feel her gaze upon me which I pretended to not notice.
As the school got notified about the recess everyone started scrambling around and chit-chatting with their groups with some of them trying to approach me. Soo-Ah also was still on her desk scrolling on her phone, this time not peeking at me.
However, I wasnt focus on any of them. Neither my classmates nor the beautiful girl beside me but something else...
"That's him." A trimmed hair boy pointed at me as he whispered toward another guy beside him. They were 7 in total with the eighth one wannabe boss of all these fodder.
I knew him and was very well pissed at him already. Dirty tangerine hair with a tattoo imprinted on his neck. His height was well matched as mine with a disgusting smirk on his face.
"That fucker got knocked by him?" A look of disbelief was directed at me but I didn't budge from my place and just sat there. My neighbor was surprisingly wasnt bothered by them either.
Quite a commotion already erupted upon their arrival with people murmuring about me but this time with sympathy.
"What bullshit you are spouting. Hey, you!" Finally, I got called by the big guy before I stood, in absence of any kind of hesitation.
"I wouldn't have moved my ass if I was you..." It seemed Soo-Ah was surprisingly focused on the whole thing happening as she suggested in a barely audible tone.
"Thanks but dont worry. It won't go like you are expecting it to." She glared at me with a face,' when did I get worried about you?' But I dodged that look and walked away.
"Quite obedient you are...whatever you are.." He didnt have any kind of information about me that was for sure but doesn't change my waves of emotions from accumulating at all.
For some, I could be overreacting but remembering what my sister could have gone through made my breathing ragged and an emotion brewed inside me that I mostly suppressed in my last life.
"Kim Kisoo. Thanks for saving my time". I thanked him before anything the person could say something. I wasnt patient enough to wait for him to complete his blabbering and test my strength so I darted first.
It was surprising how the guy put on his guard as soon he saw me moving but he judged something wrong. I wasnt going at him but for the side kicks waiting for their turn.
The trim haired came into my radar first as I landed my heel on his foot on which he panicked but before he could react completely, a tightly held punch landed just below his left eye. Since I had taken his foot as leverage, he didn't budge from his place before I folded my arm and in an upper hook arc, shot his chin with my elbow, this time letting go of his foot of course.
All this happened in mere 4 seconds so people around us were still unfocused on where to look at. But when the first victim fell to the ground everyone took their guard and stood in an alerted posture.
A smile of satisfaction spreaded on my face as I saw my target on the ground before I charged toward the other one. This time the guy also threw his punch at my face which felt like a slow-moving paper plane coming at me.
I leaned right as his punch crossed my face before an impactful hit connected to his jaw. My hand didn't feel pain even though I smacked his bone to the point where I heard some crunching sound from it.
Kim Kisoo was looking at me with an amused look and didn't move and leaned back on Soo-Ha's desk while watching the fight. My neighbor didn't speak just got up and took my seat before engrossing herself again in her phone.
I shook my head before I felt something approaching me from the back. Two guys were on their way to attack me from the back as if to hold me.
I knew jumping high, which felt quite possible right now for some reason would not be good. I do want to break them apart but give away my supernatural element of mine in front of these many people.....
I just raised my heel which landed on one of the guys who was approaching me from the back as he halted on his feet with saliva breaking from his mouth. I was sure with the momentum he must have been feeling like shit right now.
The other one also stopped, looking at his friend in pain but nonetheless, he again approached me. It was amusing how plain their attacks were. Raising fist toward my face as soon as reaching a certain distance, while giving your whole body for me to strike.
Not quite smart.
I held his risen hand in my clutch before raising my right leg and wrapping his back and making him lean forward. He was completely in my grasp and killing him didn't seem tough. But I was rational enough just to twist his hand and break his upper arm.
" GAAAAAAAAHHHH!!" A scream which shook the room resonated before I let him go. By the time Kim Kisoo also stood up with a slight frown on his face. It was clear from his expression that he wasnt expecting something so cruel from me.
'Poor papa's boy saw something horrible...' I cried my fake tears before wiping the floor with other side kicks and standing straight feet apart from the main guy.
"So you do know some tricks huh...not bad." He tried his fullest to not let his voice break but my heightened sense told me his heart was shit crazy beating right now.
"Now you have two option Kim Kisoo. First, you will take your sister and yourself away from Seoul and study at whatever foreign university you want for the coming years. Or second..." I decreased our distance even more which made his breathing choked,"...I will beat the crap out of you right now and implicate the consequences of you choosing this option to your whole family." I stood back with my gaze straight.
He was visibly shocked and scared. He knew I wasnt joking but the die-hard boss of the gang, couldn't just take the shit from others right?
He chose the second one...
"Don't FUCK WITH ME!!!" The boss enraged with his fist approaching the center of my forehead at a furious speed. But sadly it seemed like a fast-flying paper plane.
But it still was just a paper plane tho...
I caught his fist and used my breathing for the first time before twisting it upward.
*Crack*.
Seriously I wasnt in the mood to hear his scream as my sense was high and his scream would be like mega speakers barking just beside your earhole.
I inhaled deeply...
After leaving his fist I straightened my palm and with my rigid fingers at the top, I planted it somewhere near his torso. Second, it landed just above his knee, and with my palm, I jabbed his chin which broke his jaw.
Broke bone, internal bleeding, and torn ligaments. It wasnt enough but I didn't go too far for now as he wasnt the one who bullied my sister. And please dont misunderstand, I wasnt beating him because he sat on my crush's desk.
Not at all...
He was conscious with no bleeding sign on his body except for his mouth because of the tongue which he nearly bit when my hit landed on him. The class was like a graveyard. No noise at all. Soo-Ah was equally surprised or maybe frightened but my current focus was on the broken tangerine rag-tasting ground. I dusted off my shirt and pulled my blazer from my desk before I spoke in a rather loud tone so the content reaches up to his skull.
"Since you have picked the hard route I will make sure your toll doesn't get any less either...Kim Kisoo."

A/N: He is a bit (S) so cope with it.
Anyway, I hope you guys are liking the story.
Don't worry he won't behave like a simp around his crush but some casual flirting won't harm, right?
There will be lemons in the story but with a build up so not so soon, sorry!
What now...
