Chapter~1 (Shred)

Henry was surprised when his aunt told him about what happened to his mother.

He couldn't control his tears, his cheek was warm for a second, he wiped his tears and went towards his car.

He start the engine and drove off towards his home

It was his mother, she fell from the top of the building while she was hanging out the clothes to dry. She slip on one of the toys from Henry's younger brother Harry.

When Henry reached there were a loud sounds of women crying over the body of Henry's mother.

Henry went straight to his mother corpse, he sat beside her, he couldn't cry anymore, he feels like the whole world is dark and gloomy for him, he was neither crying nor weeping but he was hurt inside, words can't express how he feels to lose his beloved mom.

After two months from burying his mother, Henry also started to heal little by little but sometimes when the sky is gloomy and the moon shines he couldn't think of anything accept his mother, his tears fell before he knew.

Henry is a twenty years old, he had a little brother who was ten and a half years old. Henry's father worked as a teacher, Henry also followed his father path and interviewed for a teacher at the same school as his father. He was luckily accepted by the school authority. They even let Harry go to school at the same place as they both work.

Neighbouring people are happy when they see Henry and his family are doing better day by day.

One day when Henry was taking class, one of the staff called him and told him that Stacy mother had died of an accident.

Henry tears fell from thinking about what had happened in the past two months. Without saying any thing he entered his class, he drank his water and clenched his voice. It was the most difficult things to do for a teacher. While all the students attentively silently waiting for their teacher to speak about what was happening.

Henry watery eyes looked at Stacy, Stacy doesn't understood what was happening. Henry started speaking and told her "Stacy, darling as a human people came from a mud and one day they have to return to mud again and leave all their beloved ones". Stacy confusingly looked at her teacher. Henry continued with a slow and shaky voice "Stacy, im sorry that I have to tell you this, your mom has passed away."

Stacy covered her mouth with her handkerchief and started crying her best friend hugged her and both cry with hugging each other tightly.

Everyone eyes was watery and all were looking pitifully towards Stacy.

"What a cruel world", Henry murmured to his hear.

Soon Stacy's dad came to pick her up. Stacy and her best friends went out of the classroom. Henry stood up from his chair and everyone was pin drop silent nobody was brave to talk or to murmur.

Henry wiped his eyes and started to talk "As today some surprisingly unwanted things happened to our dear friend and student Stacy, we will all pray for her and her family for a better future without their beloved mother for the children of hers and also a wife to the husband", they all close their eyes and murmured as they pray.

Henry took the last "Amen".

He then went to the headmistress room and talked about going to Stacy home for condolence. All the staff and classmate of Stacy went to her home.

After the condolence was done they all returned to their respective homes.

Henry and his little family also reached their home.

While Henry was cooking for their dinners his phone rang, he wipe his hands dry and quickly pick up his phone. It was and old friend of his when he was a young boy.

They talked to each other while Henry was still cooking.

Soon, he was done talking on the phone and also done cooking they all sat before the table and ate their dinner.

Henry's dad went to the sitting room and turned on the T.v to watch news for that day.

Harry was also busy doing his homework and Henry, after doing all the chores he went ro his room and reads the chapter he's going to teach the next day.

After he was done reading he went to his bed and chat his friends. Henry had never been in love nor had a crush (as today's language). He knows that some female teacher loved him or crush him, but he didn't like them as much.

So, he prefer alone.

He was scrolling down on Instagram, as he was scrolling he suddenly enters to an account, his username was Harvey, he scroll down his account as he came to know that he was a professional doctor.

He watched Harvey's reels which he was talking about 'Importance of Medicine'.

Henry watched a few videos he also liked the videos he watched of Harvey's explained about Medicines.

It was already late when he charged his phone and went to bed, as the next day was school day.

Henry close his eyes, his face towards the window, his blanket to his chest and force himself to sleep while thinking of his mother giving him a goodnight kiss before bed.

A single tear fell from his eye, his tear sparkle as the light of the moon across the window shines towards his bed.

"Good night, mom, i love you", he whispered.
