Chapter 29 Testing

Amadea POV

I woke up to the sound of the door opening. My father came down, putting a plate on the floor with some wet dog food with a snicker. "Since you learned to act up more, you can be an animal for a week." With that, he left me alone.

As my anger grew I came to a decision. I will get rid of them. They do not deserve to keep living and it will be my only way to escape. Even if I were found out, I would only go to jail but seeing them scream in despair as I ended them would be music to my ears.

A demonic grin appeared on my face a glint appearing in my eyes. I smashed the plate on the ground, grabbing a shard of porcelain on the ground. Trying to stand, I winced as I crumpled down to the ground the pain too much for my body to handle. Apparently, my leg was fractured when I was thrown down the stairs.

Letting out a low chuckle I squeezed the shard in my hand. "Fine then, Father Mother, we shall perish together…" I took the shard and stabbed my side letting out a roar of pain adrenalin starting to course through my body. The timer from all my injuries was ticking down and this rush would not last long before I collapsed.

I stood up and wobbled a few steps before getting used to my messed-up leg. I managed to clear the stairs in a few seconds and tried the door handle and noticed it was locked. Without even realizing it I circulated some chaos energy and punched the door lock off letting the door swing open.

My eyes glowed as I saw my parents sitting on the couch watching tv with fear in their eyes. "Mommy, Daddy, I want to play…" Giggling softly I charged them as fast as I could the shard in my hand easily cutting my mother's neck. Turning to my father I laughed louder as I jammed the shard into his chest multiple times.

Seeing their eyes dim I collapsed onto the ground. Closing my eyes I was ready feeling light as a feather.

"Very good child. You conquered one of your mental demons. Now your next test will begin…"

My world spun again as I opened my eyes. As I opened my eyes, I was surrounded by millions of humans. Standing around thousands of corpses, a smile worked its way up to my lips. This was not a test. This was obviously a reward to slaughter to my heart's content.

They started a charge me as I held a black blade in my hand. I sent out a swing of my sword sending out a blade arc of chaos energy cutting through hundreds of humans. Hearing their screams sent a chill down my spine making my smile grow wider. Letting out a demonic laugh I looked behind me.

I saw a man standing behind me. I could not see his face but could feel the love beaming from him. Suddenly words left my lips without me even thinking. "Daddy watch me! I can slaughter them better than you can." Charging into the crowd, I swung my blade cleaving through multiple humans with ease but I could not snuff out the light in them fast enough.

Slowly black arms grew from my back each wielding a blade. Four black arms on each side and one for each hand a total of ten blads cleaving in every direction blocking incoming arrows. I was dancing a swift dance of death in the middle while the man watched. It was as if everything was happening without me making an effort. Like I was viewing a memory from someone else.

Not killing fast enough I started launching normal spells in every direction. The spells did not feel right to me using normal elements so I started intertwining chaos in all my spells. Watching as a boulder tried to be blocked by changing into a wind blade right at the end cleaving them in half.

I killed for what felt like months just enjoying myself oddly never getting tired. Suddenly I got hit by a spell that teleported me through a rift leaving my body battered. I groaned looking normal no more extra arms or blood lust around me. As I looked up I saw a beautiful girl looking down at me in worry. "Who are you? Where am I? Who am I?"

As the questions left me the world faded and I was standing before a giant dragon covered in chaos energy. "That is the right question you should be asking little one. Work hard and remember who you are but before then your last test is to fight me…"

Letting out a sigh I guess I was right. That was a memory. No wonder I was using skills I never knew before. Summoning my dagger, I looked at the dragon. "You said I needed to fight you not win correct?"

The dragon laughed. "You are observant one child. Yes you just need to fight me. If you are worthy, I shall grant you this place."

Smiling I tried to form chaos arms just like the memory but I could only get one more arm. Shaking my head since I did not have another weapon I turned the arm into a spear instead of a hand forming another chaos dagger in my other hand. Charging as fast as I could I jumped trying to land on top of him.

He easily hit me with his tail sending me flying. I flew back about 10 feet coughing the wind leaving my body. Glaring at him I let out a roar and charged again. As I got closer, I got hit again by a breath attack. Letting out a growl at the burning feeling I grew more and more angry.

But as the fight dragged on I did not notice dragon scales started to form on my body at a fast rate with every blow. Blow after blow my body was transforming and I stopped feeling pain. After a couple of hours my body was no longer even humanoid.

I was on four legs scales all over my body—a small tail coming out of my back end and two small wings on my back. Growling I let out a dark, chaotic beam that was changing between elements. Charging at him again I jumped fluttering my wings helping me jump slightly higher and biting him on the neck and clawing at him like a wild beast.

He let out a laugh. "Congrats on passing little dragon. I will pass this realm to you but I want also to train you in your heritage since it seems your dragon bloodline has not been used at all. I mean look you still only have a baby form."

That is when I looked down noticing all the changes in my body. My first reaction was to panic. "Please tell me I can turn back. I don't want Apael not to like me because I look like this!" I let out a soft whimper dreading what my future could hold.
