ANNOUNCEMENT

So, I've got some bad news.

While I do like writing this book, there are some problems I have right now.

First of all, I do not enjoy writing it at the moment, due to the fact that I'm kind of forcing myself into writing because of the need to upload new chapters in a steady stream.

This in itself would not be that much of a problem, if it weren't for the fact that even with the effort I put in, I'm not really rewarded.

Each chapter takes me on average between 1,5-2 hours to write with proof-reading. Since I'm publishing 3 chapters a week currently, that makes about 5 hours a week.

That's about 20 hours a month, which is not a small amount of time considering that I still have other hobbies and like reading other books too.

Then there's also the problem that the book doesn't really gain any exposure on webnovel. In the last months it hasn't even been recommended a single time anywhere, and the views are barely increasing. This kind of hurts when seeing other books that are written with much less effort (grammar mistakes/typos) gain much more exposure.

This also lead to me not really earning any money from the book. I tried pushing through this month, but with what I've earned, I'm barely earning 1,5 €/hour.

This all has led me to drop the book for now. I might pick up my other book, God of (Mis)Fortune again, and try my look, seeing if I might gain more views on it, but I'm not sure for now.
