Once they decided to leave, everyone picked up their stuff, while Artemis went back into Jason's soul world.
Without wasting any time, he was about to go straight to the rift, but he was held back by Theo.
As Jason looked at him in confusion, Theo pointed towards the large medical tent next to the rift, explaining,
"We have to be tested before we're allowed to enter the rift. It won't take that long and it's just a simple blood test and another small examination to measure your brainwaves."
The line confused Jason as he stopped dead in his tracks, trying to ensure he had heard him right. Feeling doubtful,he asked to make sure that his assumption was correct.
"Do we have to undergo these tests because it is unknown if the valley has foreign, harmful viruses or diseases? But what about the brain waves?... Are they done to figure out if parasites had entered our body as a host to control us or something like that?"
