Best Wingman

"You said something about the humans not letting your kingdom be official?" Vincent asked after landing on Ibis' shoulder.

Letting out a long sigh Ibis responded "It's not like they do it on purpose, from what little we could gather most humans aren't aware of our existence."

"That is true most people just walk about unaware that their precious island is 'infested with goblins..... or shifters for that reason." After that statement VIncent paused, "Why is it that you aren't surprised by my existence?"

"You'd have to ask our elders that question. I believe that they'd explain these things best. But I can tell you that they are the reason I know."

"Interesting." Vincent said,half to himself. "Also, why did you get so upset? Loretto had asked a reasonable question. And gave a reasonable reaction, at least thats what I think. "

Ibis thought for a moment before answering, "His tone when he called my, our, kingdom an 'overgrown village'. Maybe because it's true."

"So was it...." Due to a lose of words Vincent stopped.

"Yeah, it was all me. Nothing to do with him, " Ibis turned around walked towards Loretto.
