32 Ruby did an Oppsie

"Uuuugghhhhh....."

Right now Jin was sitting on his chair as he grunted in boredom.

He was now at the staff's office and he was at the desk were he was assigned to by Glynda a few weeks ago.

In the first day he was extremely busy in this office, as there were many staffs that was absent on that day because of some outside missions in the Academy.

So he had to do most of the work of some of the absent staffs, the work of the others were done by Glynda and a bunch of other present staffs on that day.

All of the staffs here, other than the janitors, were all hunters and huntresses. Of course they would have some other jobs other than being a staff here in the Academy.

On the second day, the staffs were now back and he had almost nothing to do in the office, except for some minor tasks and him just reading books and watching some videos on his scroll.

He had alot of free time in that day, and the same thing can be said in the past days after he finishes his job as an instructor for the students.

Very little work and Lots of free time. That was his life here in the office nowadays.

And right now, after he carried Velvet to her team's dorm room, he immediately went back to the office to spend the rest of his free time there to relax and read some novels.

Classes still weren't over so there were no student that he can interact to.

So he would just spend his time here to wait for Lunch time and finally hangout with his sisters and the others.

In fact, this was his routine for the past days after he became an instructor. Just waiting for classes to be over and then go and eat lunch with everybody and do some random stuff.

Right now, since arriving here, he had nothing to do. All the staffs were doing their work just fine and he really wasn't needed in helping them anymore.

There was even no errands for him nor he was tasked with any minor kinds of paper work for the last hour.

'Maybe because its going to be my final day? Huh, maybe, just maybe.'

Jin watched the other staffs immerse themselves in their own work, they were totally ignoring him.

If Glynda was here and she see's the guy not doing anything, then she would definitely task him on some work.

It was mostly the reason on why he had some minor work here in the staff office. But now she was teaching in some class, so he was free.

Jin then sloppily pulled out his scroll and turned it on so he can watch some videos. But then.....

Low Battery....

Its was now on Low Battery....

"Jesus Christ, are you kidding me....."

Well at least it didn't completely shut down yet, it still has 6% on its battery life.

Jin then looked at the time, and it was 11:44. He then sighed as he placed the scroll on the desk in front of him, which was completely empty.

"Six minutes left and class will be over for the students. Six minutes left and those beasts will be unleashed to feed themselves on lunch."

.....

Meanwhile.....

"Ruby." Someone quietly called out.

Currently, the little red and her team was still in class, as well as for Jaune and the others.

Right now Ruby was sleeping on her desk while drooling and letting out some light snores every now and then.

She was also using the ancient art of using some large books to cover her sleeping figure. And Port ignored it for some reason, even though she was the one closest to the front.

There was even a transparent mucus bubble coming of her nose and popping out in every snore she did, to which, disgusted the Ice Queen that was sitting next to her.

She was completely not listening to her babbling instructor, which was Professor Peter Port by the way.

Which was understandable as the old fat man was bragging about his past achievements again instead of actually teaching something useful.

Professor Port was always like that. He would always do it everyday.

Sure, he may actually teach some actually useful stuff every now and then, but mostly, in his class, he would spent most of his time braging about the 'heroic' deeds he did when he was on his prime; in almost every topic of Grimm studies.

Its been a few weeks now and that kind of thing from him still didn't go away. Though the students weren't really complaining, as they wouldn't get any school activities in his class.

And as bonus, their grades were always high in his class because Port would rarely conduct any kind of classroom activity or quiz.

So who were they to complain?

But of course, Ruby was not the only one sleeping in class. Some were similarly sleeping, while some where playing some games on their scrolls while similarly using the book cover strategy.

"Ruby.." The white haired girl hushed again. But the little red, still wasn't waking up.

"Ruby!" This time, Weiss lowly yelled at her.

No reaction...

"Ruby!!" Weiss lowly yelled again as she strongly elbowed the little red's arm.

"Ow!" The black and red haired girl hissed in pain.

"Weiss.....I'm up, I'm up!....Ugh..." Ruby finally opened her eyes while letting out a low groan.

"Weiss...*Yawns*...What is it?" Ruby asked as she rubbed her eyes before looking at Weiss with a drowsy look.

"Why are you getting tired now, huh?! That's what you get for waking up early! Now get up already! You've been sleeping for almost two hours!" The Ice Queen scowled.

"Ugh...." Ruby grumbled before proceeding to look around her.

She saw that most of the students here were sleeping while similarly using the book strategy to cover themselves.

Even Yang, Blake and team JNPR were doing the same thing, except for Pyrrha and Weiss of course.

Since all of the students here were first years, then of course, they experienced the torture training, that Jin subjected them to, last night and was still obviously tired because of it.

Most of these slimy rats only went to class in order for them to only have their attendance signed and sleep off the rest of their time here.

Ruby whined, "Weiss, look around you. Everyone else is still sleeping. Why don't you get some sleep while there's still time."

Weiss then glanced at the sleeping students, and then at the babbling Port. The weird situation made her have realization.

'Why is our teacher ignoring them? I mean look at the books! There are books standing in almost every desks! They are obviously hiding those sleeping lot! Why are you turning a blind eye on them you fat old man!'

Ruby then slightly moved the large books in front of her, and saw that Professor 'Poop' was still boringly bragging about his past achievements.

"Its still not over.....Weiss, please wake me up when its all over." Ruby weakly said.

With that, The sleepy red then slumped her head back on her desk with a low thud. She then began snoring again.

"You insufferable little....!"

Weiss then furiously pulled out her 'Mini Scroll' from her pockets. She was about to show Ruby the time, but then Professor Poop said some magic words.

(Authors Note: I think the Mini Scroll ain't cannon, so assume that I made it up. Scrolls are normally the size of Ipads or Tablets, but Mini Scrolls have the size of Iphones or regulad Phones. If you have a better name for it, then please suggest.)

"Now, now! I'm afraid that this'll be all we'll have for today. Class dismissed everyone."

Hearing that, the sleeping students instantly opened their eyes and they immediately got up from their seats in a normal fashion.

Its like they weren't sleeping at all, and was just waiting to hear the magic words.

"Finally man. We can now get out of here." Yang said as she stretched her arms.

Ruby similarly stretched her arms before packing up her stuff and saying in anticipation, "Yes! Now, time to find my smelly twin brother and have him serve me!"

Weiss' left eye twitched and her face turned weird at seeing the bizzare actions of the students.

They were extremely sensitive to the words 'Class Dismissed'. They would just sleep off or ignore or not listen to most of Professor Port's discussions.

But if he says 'Class Dismissed', their ears would twitch as they would immediately wake up from their slumber and enthusiastically prepare on packing their things up.

'Beacon Academy surely is a magical place.' Weiss thought.

With that, all of the students walked out of the classroom and began to head towards different directions with their friends to hang out in lunch.

Ruby and her friends were talking about random things while heading towards the Dining Hall to eat their meal.

"Now, let's find Jin and have him serve our lunch!" Weiss said as she grinned and raised a fist on the air.

"Oh, oh! Guys! I almost forgot to show you this!" Ruby said as she began rummaging for something in her backpack.

"Hm?"

All of the people present was curious of what Ruby's got for them as they leaned in a little closer. The little red then pulled something out and she raised it to the air for everyone to see.

It was a Pearlescent full-face white mask with bizzare looks. It had no mouth and nose layers designs. The mask also had two dark red horns protruding from its forehead and perfectly curving upward, as well as golden plating layers on the bottom of the horns.

It also has a golden eye brow layer designs, as well as a golden plating on the space between the eyes. And lastly, it has a glowing colored glass as covers for its eye sockets, the left was colored red while the right was colored silver.

"Woah, that mask actually looks pretty cool!" Jaune said in awe.

"I don't know, but...looking at it makes me feel weird.....It gives me the demonic vibes...You know what I mean?" Weiss said as she held her shoulders.

"What do you mean it feels weird? It looks cool! I mean, look at those golden platings, son! And look at the eyes! It just makes the mask look perfect!" Ruby said as she kept pointing at the mask.

She then showed them the back of the mask, which had some wirings and machinery here and there. It even has a motherboard!

"I'm telling you guys! This mask is so cool and advanced! Even though it wouldn't fit me, I still tried to put it on! Amd when I putted it on my face, I heard a voice from the mask saying, 'Unidentified User' or something like that. I freaked out at first, but then I realized that this must be some super advanced techno mask thingy with facial recognition and all that good stuff!" Ruby said in glee.

"Ok, but.....where did you find it?" Blake said as she carefully looked at the mask.

"I found it in Jin's room! That smelly brother of mine took my big cookie jar two days ago and he ate it all! Not even crumbs were left! It was too much of a prank!" Ruby said out loud with an irritated tone.

She then had a devious smirk, "I wanted to have some revenge! So I took something from his room that seemed to be important and I wanted to hide it as a prank, so I can see him suffer while trying to find it all over the Academy! Mwahahahaha!"

"You know, you can just make him buy you alot of cookies as compensation. You don't really need to do this you know..." Yang said as she crossed her arms.

"No way! You think I can just brush that off?! Those were the '99 Chocolate Chip' cookies with an added secret ingredient that'll make it a hundred times tastier! That shop in Vale would rarely sell those good stuff! Do you know my struggles to make sure that I'll be the first to get in that shop and buy it all?!" Ruby exclaimed in indignation.

"That's why.....I.....uh.....borrowed?.....steal?.....No! I'm just borrowing these and I'm just gonna be giving it back to him ok!" She awkwardly continued.

"Uhhhh, Ruby...." Weiss said as she pointed at a furious Jin, who was right behind the red cloaked girl.

"What? You want me to stop?! Heck no! I have to do this! I have to get my revenge!" Ruby exclaimed.

"R-R-Ruby!" Jaune yelled at her while trembling in fear.

The others became nervous and they were also shivering. They all sweatdropped at the sight of the furious Elder Red.

"What?"

All of her friends pointed behind her. Ruby turned around, only to be greeted by a furious Jin.

He was having a scary look on his face as lightning crackled from his arms. An ominous silver Aura light was now visible on his body as he trembled in anger.

"It would've been ok if you do that to me. BUT OF ALL THE THINGS YOU CAN TAKE, IT HAD TO BE THAT MASK?!" Jin roared at his sister.

Ruby immediately trembled as her face started sweating all over. Her face was now having a nervous and a terrified look as she comicslly blurted out in fear.....

"Meep....."
