"Your not an average cannon fodder, but let me guess.....Your the boss right?"

The woman didn't respond and she immediately backed away from Jin. She then pointed her sword at him before speaking in a demanding tone.

"Who are you? And why are you hunting us?"

Jin adjusted his clothes before patting some dust off as he replied in a calm and composed voice.

"Me? I'm just an average mercenary who was hired to take care of the bandit problems in the area."

"Then, how much did they pay you?"

"I told them I'd only receive the money after I finish the job." Jin said before he continued.

"Besides, even if I wasn't hired to do so, I would still hunt you down at my own disposition."

Raven glared at the man underneath her mask before turning towards the lying Vernal. Her eyes widened in shock upon seeing her condition, especially her now missing arms.

"How...could you...." Raven trembled in anger.

"How could I what? It is only right for me to bestow punishment for those who venture to the path of wickedness."

Raven couldn't hold herself for any longer and she charged at Jin with an explosive speed.

Jin's eyes narrowed underneath his mask at the activation of one of his semblance.

[Hyper Concentration]

Jin could see the charging Raven slowly moving towards him in a straight line. He saw that Raven was slowly going for a strike sidewards at his neck, intending to behead him.

'I pity those who fight me that doesn't know about my [Hyper Concentration].'

In his eyes, Raven's red sword was slowly about to slash at his neck. But Jin reacted quickly and caught the sword with his hands.

*Boom!*

Jin managed to catch the sword with his hands, but the sword strike was powerful and it produced a strong gust of wind. But Jin was unaffected by it as he just stood firm on his feet.

Raven's eyes widened and her mouth opened in shock underneath her mask. This man actually just blocked her attack casually, or at least such was the case from her perspective.

She knew that he was using Aura to protect his hands, but to be able to see through her attack like it was nothing? It was just too much for her too handle.

Furthermore, she felt that this man's aura was unnaturally strong. Its quality was alot higher than hers and so was for its quantity.

"What the...." She muttered.

"Below average." Jin remarked before retaliating.

[Aura Force]

Jin gathered a large amout of Aura and he used it to push Raven back with an invisible but powerful force.

Raven was sent flying from the force and she crashed to a nearby tree before dropping to the ground, kneeling.

Raven gritted her teeth as she stood back up and glared at Jin.

'Who the hell is this guy?!'

Her weapon was still on the hands of the man. When she was pushed back, the man happened to pull the sword out from her grasp.

'Wearing a black clothes....A mask with some painted teeth...It can't be! I thought he only operates in Vale!'

While Raven was shocked at a realization. Jin was twirling her sword around with his hands as he spoke up.

"That mask of yours, I've heard from some of my many employers about a person in Mistral that would only wear such a mask."

Jin stopped twirling the sword and he held it properly before pointing her.

"The leader of a savage tribe that consists of murders and thieves, Raven Branwen."

Raven flinched at his remark as he continued, "Once a huntress that graduated from Beacon Academy and a former member of team STRQ. Married to Taiyang Xiao Long and gave birth to a daughter, but after a few months you suddenly left your husband and daughter without leaving any kind of reason."

Raven was surprised at how much the man knows about her but was also confused as she sensed some anger in his voice.

'Just...who is this man?'

"Fine, you got me. But you, you are known in Vale as 'The Punisher'. So what are you doing here in Anima? And who are you? Really?"

"I'm not obliged to answer your questions. It's your problem that you don't know much about me. But I can tell you that I'm here to wipeout your tribe."

Raven's eyes turned cold as a dark red aura slowly sparked on her eyes. She was going to use her maiden powers, right her and right now.

'I have no choice! If I don't stop this man then my whole tribe is doomed! I don't care if he'll know about me being a Maiden! I'm going to kill him anyway!'

From the identity of this man and from the strength that he displayed, she prepared herself to fight against a great enemy.

Jin sensed about her Aura surging and he already knew what was happening. If she wasn't wearing a mask right now, her eyes would be seen emitting a dark red aura.

He then increased the Aura protection he had on his body and boosted its strengthening abilities.

Jin was confident that he can block all her attacks with his Aura protection and easily put her down with his Aura empowered attacks.

'I'm about to fight the Spring Maiden. Hehehe, let's see how far you can make me use my power. But, I doubt that you can make me use my fourth semblance.' Jin thought with an arrogant smirk underneath his mask.

Raven generated and surrounded herself with a field of blue electricity as she took a stance. She then created some ice before condensing them all into a sword.

"O-ho, fancy! Show me another one of your parlor tricks."

*Whoosh!*

Raven roared as she charged at Jin while producing a strong gust of wind to propel herself in an explosive speed.

"Its useless..."

[Hyper Concentration!]

Raven's movements became extremely slow to the eyes of Jin. Her entire body was emitting a blue electricity that burned the grass underneath her.

He saw that she was slowly moving her arms in preparation for a downward strike. She also increased the power of the electric field around her as she got closer to Jin.

'Electricity won't be having any effect on me, I can just absorb it. As for her attacks...'

Jin narrowed his eyes as he casually side stepped to right, flawlessly dodging her attack.

Raven didn't give up on her assault as she slashed again, now striking at the right. But Jin just swayed his shoulder lightly, flawlessly dodging the attack again.

Slash!

Slash!

Raven already did multiple fast slashes, but Jin just dodged them all casually. This situation made her click her tongue, she was really irritated that she was doing nothing to him.

She opened her other hand and an ice sword was instantly created. She then relentlessly attacked Jin again and again as her electric field began crackling even louder.

'You'll never be able to touch me.'

Jin continously dodged her attacks. Raven was furiously slashing at Jin while the two were speedily moving from the different areas around the forest.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha."

Jin was laughing composedly as he easily kept dodging Raven's attacks. Every move that Raven makes, it would produce a strong gust of wind, but Jin would just brush it off like it was a gentle breeze.

Because of Jin's [Hyper Concentration], he was almost invincible in close combat. He was almost impossible to hit, and he was able to see through their attacks and act accordingly.

'Come on, thats not how a Maiden should fight. If you just stayed back and throw some elemental attacks at me, then it would be less effort for you and more effort for me.'

Raven then froze his legs with a wave of her arms. Now trapped, Raven slashed again! And this time Jin met the attack with her stolen sword.

*CLANG!*

The two locked swords for a moment before Jin pushed her flying back with a great burst of strength.

"Mediocre." Jin blurted out as he casually removed himself from the ice.

Raven was sent back while tumbling once before landing on her knees. Raven gritted her teeth from underneath her mask as the electric field around her began to grow bigger and stronger.

"How scary...."

(Insert Electricity/Lightning getting stronger SFX)

Raven charged herself with massive amounts of electricity before reaching both of her arms out and firing a massive electrical blast.

"Hmm..."

Jin just raised an eye brow before reaching out a hand. The electrical blast then struck Jin at its full power, but Jin was just standing there while looking at her, completely unharmed.

Raven was shocked at the scene and Jin's body was now crackling with red lightning.

"Let me return that attack at you....With triple the power."

Jin reached out his hand and he unleashed a red electric blast. The blast was three times as big as Raven's!

"Er-Aaaaahhhh!"

Raven was struck by the blast as she screamed in pain. She then slumped down, but she still held half of her body up with her hands on the ground.

Jin watched the panting Raven with fascination as he thought.

'I guess Maidens have some resistance against elemental attacks. A huntsman would disintegrate immediately if they were hit by that blast, but Raven actually survived with only a few burns and some pain.'

"I didn't expect that you were shock proof." Jin said as he slowly walked forward.

Raven tried to get up, but she was having trouble as her body was aching and cramping all over from the powerful electrical shock.

"T-his is just..."

Before she could fully mutter her thoughts, she looked up and was greeted with her own sword being thrown at her.

Raven gritted her teeth as she forcefully made her body roll out of the way. The sword hit the ground and Raven groaned from the cramping pain all over her body.

"Aaaaahhh!"

Raven furiously slammed her fists on the ground, and in the next moment, large earth spikes suddenly emerged from the ground underneath Jin.

"Hmph!"

Jin was actually sent flying! He wasn't impaled by those spikes, but the force launched him off the ground!

Raven already healed herself with Aura and she quickly moved for an attack in this divine opportunity!
