Her.. (Part 3)

The intense battle continued as Celine swiftly swung her sword, creating sharp golden energy projectiles that the opposing woman fearlessly faced.

She charged forward, gripping her opponent's neck and throwing the knight towards Rayven, who had been about to shoot an arrow, causing the arrow to miss and hit a nearby building instead.

The impact created a powerful vibration, accompanied by a cloud of dust that revealed a large hole in the side of the building. Fueled by anger, the commander did not stay idle. He swung his sword, creating a large, sharp energy projectile as a mere bait.

The woman dodged it, and a wicked grin appeared on Loid's face.

He then released several energy shots from the blue magic circles on the palm of his hand. The condensed energies caused consecutive explosions upon impact, generating thick smoke with flashes of golden light, akin to a raging storm.

The commander barely had time to celebrate his success when a flash of purple light emerged from within, moving so swiftly that he couldn't react. He could only witness the woman now standing beside him, her palm placed directly in front of his chest.

In an instant, the commander found himself hurtling backward, crashing into a building with great force, piercing through several structures behind. He could feel several of his bones cracking, blood seeping from his mouth.

A hammer struck from behind.

A strong gust of wind was generated, accompanied by a thunderous sound from the impact of the hammer, which was effortlessly held back by a palm as if the attack meant nothing.

Rio gritted her teeth, channeling even more mana while shouting loudly.

Her efforts were in vain.

She was instead pushed backward, crashing onto the road and rolling there.

Suddenly, a lightning bolt struck, successfully pushing the woman down to her knees in a newly formed crater.

For the first time, she showed a cautious expression in the presence of a formidable opponent.

The lightning ceased, revealing the figure of a middle-aged man in a white military uniform, with blue sparks of electricity emanating from his body.

He stepped forward, observing her with a smirk on his face. "Hmm, so you're the one causing trouble for the knights and wreaking havoc in the capital. I admit, you have quite the audacity, but the fun ends here. Let me show you what happens when you mess with us."

A bolt of lightning suddenly struck five times in quick succession, then stopped, rendering her unable to move and too late to react as the elderly man appeared before her. He gripped her neck, slamming her down with such force that she felt an excruciating pain for the first time.

But it didn't end there. Her body was instantly struck by a high-powered electric shock, causing her vision to blur as her body weakened.

"Finish your task,"

Mr. Anderson quickly stepping back as the woman's body began to emit a bright light.

A massive explosion of aura erupted, creating shockwaves of energy that destroyed the surrounding buildings. A towering pillar of purple aura formed from the figure standing in the crater, staring back at Mr. Anderson with a pair of eyes replaced by bright purple light.

Before he could react, the figure was already standing right in front of them. Mr. Anderson glanced down and found a clenched fist gathering immense power within it.

"Damn-"

In just one punch, Mr. Anderson was sent flying backward, demolishing several buildings before crashing into a tower.

Along the trajectory of his throw, a massive explosion occurred. The delayed effect of the attack obliterated everything around it with a bright purple light.

As Mr. Anderson was about to rise to his feet, he found her already charging forward once again, ready to take his life.

The man believed his end was near, but he breathed a sigh of relief when a powerful collision took place with another man now standing not far in front of him, blocking the attack with mana shield.

"Are you alright?" I asked Mr. Anderson, who nodded in response.

I truly didn't expect Mr. Anderson to be this powerful, able to withstand such a massive attack and still smile like he does now.

He's truly a formidable individual.

"It seems Luna found something remarkable. You look suited to use it. Later, I'll have to ask my daughter where she got something as impressive as this," Mr. Anderson stood up, straightened his clothes, and emitted an electric aura once again. "Let me assist you. We cannot defeat him alone."

In one swift motion, Mr. Anderson appeared before her, delivering a powerful strike to her face that sent her flying backward, crashing into several buildings before coming to a stop. Mr. Anderson stretched his body, rotated his shoulders, and assumed a sturdy stance to run.

A strong gust of wind was created as he sprinted towards the figure, ready to engage in an exchange of attacks.

I certainly didn't stand idly by; I joined the fight, launching attacks whenever I found an opportunity.

Others also joined us, utilizing everything they had to defeat the figure, even though their bodies were covered in wounds and they were exhausted.

There's no denying that our battle wreaked havoc on the city, reducing parts of it to unrecognizable ruins.

Large craters were formed, fire spread rapidly from one building to another, and powerful vibrations shook the ground like consecutive earthquakes.

What was happening now was something I usually only witnessed behind a screen. Who would have thought I would find myself in the midst of it all, playing a part in the chaos.

'But despite our collective efforts, utilizing everything we had, she still remained undefeated.

In fact, it was us who appeared battered, with wounds and battle scars scattered across our bodies. Our clothes were torn, exposing skin that now bore wounds, slowly oozing blood, forming stains. We were covered not only in dust and dirt but also in ashes from the raging fires.

I could clearly feel the tightness in my chest, the sweat drenching my body, and the pain pulsating throughout.

If it weren't for the adrenaline, I'm sure I would have been screaming in agony.

I mustered every ounce of remaining strength, striving to stay focused in the fight, even though I longed to escape and find respite. To distance myself from this chaos, seeking the tranquility and peace that I so desperately needed right now.

However, I had to keep moving forward, to keep pushing ahead as I had done many times before.

Therefore, when the woman gathered a significant amount of mana in her right clenched fist aimed at Loid, I moved towards them using my special abilities, pushing the man away and taking the blow that felt like it was crushing my internal organs.

The powerful punch generated a strong gust of wind and a sonic explosion, propelling me to crash into the palace at high speed.

The last thing I saw before losing consciousness were two men walking into the room, saying something. Then a bright green light formed from the gray-haired man's palm, directed towards me.

"Save them, Guard-bzzt".
