Vassal Kingdom

"Welcome everyone, right now you are in the Onyx Kingdom. The woman to my left is Lilly, she will take care of you for now. Lilly, I will go and do what we discussed, and yes, I'm sure Scarlet and Miya will ensure that I do." Lilly just nodded before guiding the new Jackal women around the castle as I headed to my bed chambers.
"Scarlet, Miya, don't wake me up unless it's an emergency or King Chris and his wife enter the palace. Goodnight." I said even though the sun was clearly rising.
"Goodnight your Majesty, sleep well." My two shadows said slipping out of my shadow and standing guard inside and outside of my room.
It only felt like a few seconds had passed before I felt someone shaking my shoulder.
"Your Majesty, King Chris, and his wife have arrived, they are waiting in the dining room for you," Miya said while I rubbed my eyes tiredly.
"How long have I been asleep Miya?" I yawned tiredly.
"Four hours 37 minutes and 19 seconds." I just raised my eyebrow at that.
"Very well, lead me to them. Also, have someone bring some tea from the tea house as well as some snacks." Directing that last part to Scarlet who had entered my room when she heard talking. She just nodded before walking away as Miya led me to my first guests.
A few moments later, we were standing outside in one of my many gardens. The King and Queen were sitting at a table, looking around in wonder.
"Greetings your Highnesses, welcome to my Kingdom. I'm glad you could join me, I know you have questions so please; ask away and I will answer as much as I can." I said while sitting across from them and their bodyguards.
"Please, Empress Crystal, if we could do away with the pleasantries it would be easier for me, and thank you for inviting us." King Chris said still looking around at the beautiful garden we are sitting in and also looking at a flowing aqueduct transporting some Holy water somewhere.
'Oh, that's right, he has the inspect skill too. Well, that's going to be tough to explain without giving away my deepest secret. How the hell could I possibly tell him that and ensure that he doesn't spread that particular secret.'

'Oh, well that works, and I'd probably get more rewards being the first one to do it.' I smiled internally with a predatory grin.
"Very well, you may call me Crystal then." Chris just nodded in relief before looking around once more.
"Crystal, if I may be blunt, um…how the fuck are you Immortal, and why do you have so much Holy Water just flowing around you." Chris all but screamed at me.
"Ah…yes I thought that might be one of your first questions. Unfortunately, the only way I would remotely answer that question is if you would be able to keep it a secret. However, if you were to become one of my Vassal Kingdoms, you would be bound by a magical contract to keep my secrets; would that interest you at all? Keep in mind that I have control of three separate Kingdoms and was the first person to conquer a Kingdom. If you became a Vassal Kingdom, you would be under my protection. I'll let you think on that while we drink some tea, it was made with the same Holy Water you see before you." I said with a smirk as a nine-tailed fox woman brought some snacks and some delicious-smelling tea to our table.
"Thank you, Kiri," I said as I inspected the fox woman's information to get her name. She just bowed before stepping behind me and waiting, probably to refill the cups when needed. Tenderly I reached for what smelled like fresh spring water and inspected the cup I was about to drink.
|Notice: A-rank Holy Onyx Black Tea is a tea made in the Onyx Teahouse and served as a delicacy. If sold it would be worth 100 Gold Coins or two Inferior Magic Crystals, though no Demon would purchase this tea as it is made from Holy Water. However, Angels would certainly enjoy such a delicious drink.|
I gracefully tilted the cup to my mouth and drank, it was heavenly. Like a warm spring river washing through my entire body.
"Kiri, tell whoever is making the tea they did an excellent job. I would also like them to try and make the same tea but with water from the Hell Spring. Just make sure that they don't drink any of it." I'm going to make a killing if I can sell this type of Tea in Hell.
"Of course your majesty, thank you for your praise, would you like to try the first batch once it's done?" Kiri said, blushing slightly. As I realized that I was talking to the tea maker I blushed a little as well, I guess I should have read all of Kiri's basic information.

"Yes, I would, thank you Tea Mistress Kiri, this was wonderful." Taking another large sip of the black liquid, as Kiri walked away. I was so lost in my tea drinking that I almost didn't hear Chris when he started talking again.
"Crystal, my wife and I have consulted and we agree that becoming a Vassal Kingdom of yours would be very beneficial to us. Especially since you have such a prosperous amount of food around you, and we only rely on what we are able to summon with magic. However, I would like to know the terms of this magical contract before we sign it." Chris said, before he too took a sip of the Onyx Tea, his eyes bugging out at the deliciousness of it. Or at least that's what I interpreted it as, as he gulped it down and reached for another cup.
"Of course, the terms of the contract are that you would be under my protection. I will provide a fair trade route with you and you will keep secret what I deem as secret, a national treasure/secret type of thing. If you need help in any war conflict you can call upon my aid and I will do the same if I need your help. In one month I will start taxing you at a fixed rate of either 100 gold coins a month or something of equal value. Does that sound good to you?" I said with a professional voice while also having the System write these down in the contract that we are about to sign.
The King and Queen deliberated for a few moments and then nodded back at me.
"Yes, that works for us," Chris said to me.

After the announcements, a glowing white contract appeared in front of both me and Chris that had the terms that we had agreed upon. All we had to do was sign it. Unfortunately, it did have to be signed in blood, because a quill and a knife appeared as well. I didn't even hesitate, but Chris looked a little queasy before he too sliced his hand and dipped the quill into the blood dripping from his palm.

"Holy fuck, I received two Mythril Treasure Chests!!" Chris screamed out.
"Before you open them give them to me and I will show you one of the secrets that allowed me to get to where I am today so fast." Chris looked aghast at the idea of handing over the treasure chests but also very curious, so with a little reluctance he took them out of his inventory and placed them on the table.

"Yes," I probably should have warned Chris and Lola to close their eyes as I heard them gasp at the bright light that occurred when I said yes. Once they opened their eyes they both saw a giant chest that glowed gold and had a brilliant light shining from it.

"Go ahead, inspect it, it's yours anyway." Gesturing at Chris to look at the new chest before him, he gasped in surprise and reached for his wife's hand to steady himself.
"A…a demigod chest, ho…how?" He stutter out, Lolas' eyes widening as well when she heard Chris.
"My Talent, I can fuse anything together living or not, and create a higher-ranked being or item," I proudly stated.
"Go ahead, open it, I'm curious to see what you receive if you are willing to share." My eyebrow raised slightly, internally wondering if he would get something lewd as well.
