Samuel Johnson also fell silent. He leaned against the wall, frustrated that the person in the adjacent room, despite such an incident, was stubbornly unwilling to cooperate.
"Is she still not willing to tell you what that person said to her?"
"Yeah."
Tim Morrison chuckled bitterly from the other end, "That girl, she's really wilful."
Samuel let out a light sigh, "I'll try talking to her again. If it doesn't work out, then we'll just have to let it go."
"I know... the way she is, if we took her to the police station, she'd probably be skinned alive. Forget it, let's leave it to the police. After all, we are the victims here, innocently implicated in this mess, right?"
