Raymond expressed a desire to speak privately. Consequently, everyone else, including other senior members of the alliance, left the room. Wendy and her two companions discreetly excused themselves as well.
Now, only Alex and Raymond remained in the spacious conference room. One stood at the forefront of the room, the other at the very back. They faced each other from a distance.
Soon, Raymond approached Alex, taking a seat next to him. With a curious smile, he inquired: "Do you have a history with Mr. Terry Hervey?"
Alex responded with a faint smile and a nod: "There's some history. But I wouldn't bother him if he didn't seek trouble with me first."
Raymond's eyes flickered but he didn't pursue the topic further. If he really wished to know the details, he could simply dispatch his intelligence team to investigate and have an answer within half an hour.
