Diana's P. O. V

It might have sounded very selfish of me to ask that of him, considering his current situation. But, it was what I wanted from him, and he did say I had girlfriend privileges.

"I want you to accompany me to the competition grounds." I repeated into the phone, holding my breath for his reply.

"Am sorry but am busy." West said into the phone as casual as fuck, like I didn't just ask him something very important. Maybe it was selfish of me to want that from him after all.

"Busy?." I pushed, sure he didn't have any plans around that time. If anything, it was as though he would be bored during that period.

"I haven't finished settling into my new apartment. There's still some stuff at the house I haven't picked up yet." He answered, turning on the tap.

"Great, then I'll come over tomorrow and help out. The more hands on deck..."
