"How do you know her name?." I suspiciously asked, eyeing him from head to toe, his greedy hands clutching the phone tightly.

"She's the..."

The ringing from the phone cut him off, Diana was calling the second time now and this runt was stopping me from answering.

"Give." I let out forcing the word out of my mouth, showcasing my empty palm in front of him, asking the nicest I could.

Without thinking of the consequences, the little fucker hit answer on the call, placing the phone on speaker phone.

Just to spite me.

"Look, am sorry for hanging up on you like that. I see that was the wrong thing to do. So don't be mad at me." She spewed, without stopping to rest.

My chest tightened, I wasn't even mad at her for that, my mind had forgotten about that incident for a while now. The only thing on my mind now was taking my phone away from that brat.
