I was downstairs waiting for him to join me, so we could both go to work. West insisted on having a bath to wash off my scent from his body, whatever that meant.
So in the meantime, I busied myself looking around the house to kill time. West's mom had this disorganized sense of fashion, she mismatched furniture, didn't fully employ the use of colours... Some parts of the house didn't correlate with others.
I heard a voice behind me, two voices actually, and one was spitting out curses.
Aubrey.
Guess she's back, but before we could engage in any conversation, West alighted the stairs, his keys in his hands.
"Ready to go?." West asked, since when did he care to know if I was ready or not? He'd usually just move out and expect me to follow him from behind.
"Yep."
