Preface

Hello! I'm the author of "Glacier" and I would first of all like to thank everyone who decided to read this book for doing so. That being said, I have decided to put this little warning chapter here to make everyone aware of a few things:

1. First are the questions. I have seen one Question frequently asked on other books and I want to address It:

Author is this a har- NOPE. Its not a harem, and I'll tell you why. I consider every one of my characters, both male and female, very important to the plot and to me. If I were to even imagine my gorgeous female lead reduced to a plot device in order to accentuate some beta male MC's greatness, I would kill myself. If I see anyone ask this, I will cuss them out in Old English.

2. Spelling and Grammar. If anyone sees spelling or grammar mistakes, let me know.

I have worked on this book for literally months, working out the character dynamics, relationships, personalities, and completely changed the plot and characters more times than I can think to imagine, just to make sure everything fits. I have been told I have a strange sense of humor (as proven by the "Old English" comment, which I will stick to), and you might not get some of the jokes. I've put a lot of thought into the magic system, and I hope it is satisfactory. I actually came up with quite a few very interesting types of magic, and I think they are awesome. Last but not least I hope you enjoy this book a lot, I've tried to make it engaging and take advantage of the fact that it is in fact a magical fantasy world.

every 50 or so chapters, I will put in all the information that has been talked about in the novel. characters, magic, spells for that magic, how it works, and the setting. I actually have a massive document about it, like 30 pages long full of info. It was unceremoniously named "the shit", but then I had to change the name because my brothers thought it was porn and told my dad. I didn't tell him the truth though, it would be much more embarrassing if they figured out I was writing a book.

I've written this book in order to make a good-ass book that isn't harem, but is worldbuilding. I love worldbuilding books, but all the good ones are harems. It pains me on a physical level. So I hope this works out.
