His Past

James caught in the heat of the moment and he shockingly wanted to hug her back.

"James."

He immediately snapped out of it and pulled away from her. He turned to look and he saw Adam running towards him.

"Yes Adam?" He asked when he came closer.

Adam creased his forehead upon seeing Elizabeth there. Wasn't she supposed to have gone by now?.

"Umm Mrs Lilian what to speak with you."

"Oh okay, tell her I'll be there in a minute."

Adam nodded his head, before going back inside he made sure to give Elizabeth a bewildered but strong gaze.

Elizabeth frowned, seeing his gaze made her confused.

"You should go now that you have your things" he said, trying to fight off his anger.

She noticed it anyway and nodded in order not to make him lash out at her.

He walked back into the restaurant.

"I guess I must have crossed the line then." she muttered with pouting lips.

James met Lilian inside her office going through papers.

"Yes you ask for me."
