Elizabeth blinked her eyes several times to be sure she wasn't seeing things.

"Are you okay?" James asked, scanning her face and body.

James could see the shock expression on her face and he knew for a fact that she was in shock.

"Did you come with your car?"

Elizabeth remained silent with her eyes still locked on his handsome face.

"Where are you heading to?" James waited for a response from her but still got nothing.

He was starting to give up.

"Miss how about I take you to the hospital," and that was his first option because she clearly wasn't okay.

At the mention of the hospital, she immediately snapped back to reality.

"Umm no, no I'm okay besides I was heading home," she hastily informed me.

"Where is that? I will give you a ride," he offered.

Elizabeth kept her mouth shut, she just nodded as a response.

"Alright let's go then," he held her shoulder gently and she shivered under his gentle touch.
