Layla Hunter loses her parents at the age of twelve and is left to be raised by her paternal grandmother Coco Hunter after all her father's wealth and properties are taken away from them. Jade Owens on the other hand is raised by her single mother and grandmother after she was denied by her father even before she was born. Considering the fact that Coco Hunter and Stella Owens are cousins , both families come together under one roof. When the children grow up, Jade gets a waitress job while Layla chooses the thug street life with no job. Because of what she went through after her parents death, Layla grows up to be fearless, stubborn and rebellious with no weakness in terms of emotion. Because of her family pressuring her to get a job, Layla finds herself working in disguise as a man for a rich,proud and arrogant Actor, Liam Greyson. As if her boss' attitude isn't enough to get her pissed off,she has to deal with some of his family members who harbor hatred for her and she has to use her on the streets techniques to outsmart them. In the process, Layla learns about the death of her parents and who caused it. How will she react and what will she do to the murderer?
