Chapter 7 - Malia (1)
I just got off the phone with the garage. They told me how much it would cost me to repair Bee, and it's driving me nuts. It took them so long to check on my car because the shop had to close for a couple of weeks due to the owner's health. It's a family business and the son who's also a mechanic is the only one who takes care of the owner. And then they had backlogs. I didn't mind when they couldn't quote me yet because I didn't have money then anyway—I still don't now. I just got paid from The Manor, but I won't have enough to cover all my expenses for the month. This sucks heaps.
I did ask if they can keep my car for a few days while I figure out what to do. They reluctantly agreed and told me that I could either pay at least half of the total in a few days or I have to take it from their garage. Needless to say, I need money.
