Fallen Comrade

The ground thudded beneath six feet. Kizu and Trap were moving into the Harventona's interior at the top of the roof. Bow on the ground.

These three were moving toward the impoverished district where Tem and Garuda were still engaged in combat. They never stopped sprinting as they rounded the corners to guide them in the proper direction.

People were staring at them as they raced through the neighborhoods. The majority of the crowd had applauded the three since it was clear to them that they had no wish to injure anyone or cause trouble.

The 'Sun Soldiers' deed was completely hidden by their valiant demeanor. Nobody in the bustling section of the capital was aware of their genuine motives. They intended to enter the poorest area and surround Yumiko's defenders. They simply wanted to recover her, and she was their top priority.

"Bow. Admin Garuda gave us the coordinates to Yumiko's whereabouts. Currently she's halted in the middle of a hauling battle between a woman and our boss."

"They are positioned in the far west of the city where the poor people live. In his current position, Admin Garuda is unable to reach her. The woman he's fighting seems to be some kind of a powerful foe; possibly the woman we've been searching for, since yesterday."

"We need to enter the area unnoticed by the people and take Yumiko as hostage. In case we're spotted, we'll have to confront her defenders. Based on the details, one of them is a cook from the Primal Restaurant, that same person we've met at the beach."

"The second one is a young kid who was stuck on their ship. It appears he's capable of fighting. Impressive for a kid his age."

"Finally, it's Yumiko. We need to retrieve her. We are not allowed to fail. Muro's growing impatient and if we don't hurry up, there could be consequences. She needs to be recovered ASAP, no excuses."

Bow listened intently as Trap continued. He was unable to leave the assignment to which he had been entrusted. His primary goal was to apprehend Yumiko. Despite everything else, he didn't seem to care about the underprivileged people and had no motive to hurt them.

In response to Trap's explanation, he nodded. The three of them rounded a corner and started to move into the area they needed to raid. Both Yumiko and their foes were not far from their touch.

Tem's aggressive attack; a kick, into Garuda's stomach gradually started to disappear. He was starting to recover, feel better after the pain. When he saw Tem tired, he laughed. He couldn't hold it in.

He didn't hesitate any more. She would be a simple challenge for him to overcome, he knew. She didn't appear to be affected, though. Despite her body's terrible fatigue, she was prepared to battle.

Her limbs were ready to battle, and her posture was prepared.

"You pack quite a punch for a girl of your size. But after just one attack, you're tired and squishy."

"I will admit. You'd be a tough cookie to tear through, but now that I see just how weak you are in reality; there's no such thing as to worry about you anymore."

"You will let me get my hands on that girl. I won't back down, not until my task is fulfilled."

Tem supported her chest. She began to be frightened of the vulnerability she had acquired as a result of her metamorphosis into a girl. She was thinking only on the present. Her gaze remained fixed on Garuda's tight expression. She could hear Yumiko calling after her, begging her to stop.

Tem's obstinacy and yearning, though, were at the pinnacle of her need. She made a promise that she was unable to violate. For her at the time, it was of utmost importance. She was only concerned about ending the cruelty that was keeping the helpless souls in a never-ending cycle of faith. She had no other concerns about her health or her life.

Yumiko's eyes trembled towards the distance in horror. Tem was doing something that she couldn't conceive. She was so afraid of it that she lost all patience and broke down.

Tem had good intentions, but she couldn't control her anxiety even though she was aware of the repercussions. To the best of her ability, she attempted to stop Tem, but she was never successful.

Tem's continued participation in a fight that could end in death was all she could see. Yumiko, unable to relax, clasped her hands together. Even though she knew that fighting was risky, she could trust that her friend wouldn't back down from a fight. She didn't want more people to die.

In the blink of an eye, the action picked back up. Tem's desire to help triumphed over her concerns. She took a big stride forward, bending her entire body forward, before launching herself into a long, quick, sharp dash toward Garuda's general direction.

He didn't budge an inch from the spot. He merely stiffened his body and became ready to brace himself from any strikes. She adjusted her body quickly in front of Garuda's bulky frame before swinging one arm behind her back.

She threw her strong hand forward without holding back much of her strength. She thrust it into Garuda's gut, but her strength was exposed. His stomach merely bounced off her hand, as if she had struck sludge.

It shoved her back, almost knocking her off her feet. Garuda's threatening grin greeted her. He moved the big arm behind after raising it in the air. Again, between the joints of that fist, bolts of yellow energy began to fly. In order to severely devastate the environs, it sent out another shockwave in the zone.

He lacked constraint. He slammed it forward with all of his strength. He aimed to permanently harm Tem and break her skinny frame.

She performed a back roll with her partially bent body before changing her posture into a handspring. She only managed to avoid being punched by Garuda by bouncing off her palms in the air.

His fist's impact created a wind cyclone that rose into the air and threw debris, rock fragments, and ruins in every direction. He destroyed the ground before creating a hole that was connected to the first one.

He had the opportunity to launch another strike at any moment. He moved forward with a hefty step. He planted his foot firmly before digging it under. He pulled his left arm back, up to the level of his shoulders. He pumped his fist once again with an unimaginable force.

She controlled her body to correct herself while performing a backflip. She equated Garuda with her point of view. He was standing just in front of her, and she saw him. She was forced to remain in the air. She was a sitting duck with nothing to stand on to dodge the next blow.

She sensed the immense force that Garuda unleashed with his fist. It generated a strong yellow energy veil that enveloped his entire muscular physique. It whipped up to his head height just for him to increase his own vigor.

Tem was only able to brace herself for the hit by crossing her arms in front of her chest. But she was unable to defend herself at all from the punch.

He extended his muscular arm. He struck Tem in the arms in an effort to cushion the blow with her body. The blow broke her defenses, and she was completely outclassed. She was forced to experience how his strong fist drove deeper into her chest. Her slimness was further accentuated as it forced her arms closer to her breast.

The people around might have heard the noise made by the bones in her arm as they began to fracture. She was propelled through the air at an unbelievable speed with her entire body. She could feel the wind scraping at her skin as the attack piled on the strain.

She fell and struck a street light. A strong pole met her entire back. Her entire back could easily be broken by the metal. She nearly couldn't handle the ferocity with which she collided. She had the impression that the big truck had rammed her in the back before running her over.

The beating she endured actually caused her body to respond. She experienced an abrupt inward shock wave, as if she had been electrocuted by a thousand-power volts. She was in so much pain that she was unable to even breathe normally before rolling over on the ground. After that, she didn't budge one ounce.

Yumiko's eyes trembled more than she intended. Her vision revealed Tem's ruthless loss. She noticed her friend lying on the ground, similar to a dead squirrel in the middle of a road. She observed that the assault had almost completely ripped her clothing. She had her eyes closed.

She put her hands over her lips to hide it. The tears that were barely able to hold on to her eyelids began to readily start soaking her eyes. Tem's crewmates, as well as kids and people, had a hard time believing what they had seen.

Even more scared were the helpless, innocent individuals. Children began to cry aloud, and many other mothers began to tremble in fear.

Without having the chance to defend herself, Tem fell in front of their eyes. Kou kept his eye on his captain. He became afraid and nervous.

The person who had helped him. The person who had saved his island. The person who managed to make his dream come true...

Was defeated on the ground...
