5 Chapter 5: What are you doing here?

When Jojo turned to leave after answering the woman, he saw two poking heads looking at him from the wall. It surprised him.

"Hey... look, he can really see us," one of the heads said gloomily.

"Are you the Grim Reaper?" the head came out of the wall.

'How did they spot me? Calm down, Jojo. You are Ghost Rider. Keep your nerves together,' he thought to himself.

Seeing no response...

The second one also came out of the wall. Both were the ghosts he met at the restaurant.

"What are you doing here?" Jojo asked them. He wasn't scared of them; it's just that news of him being able to see ghosts would attract more of them.

"Well... we..." the female ghost in the wedding clothes started to speak very slowly.

"We suspected you could see us, so we followed you, but we didn't expect you to be the Grim Reaper," the girl ghost in the school dress said gloomily, though she had an excited smile on her face, which didn't match her voice before. Before the wedding ghost could complete her sentence.

"No... I am not the Grim Reaper. I am Ghost Rider," Jojo introduced himself.

With his power, he could destroy them, but he felt disgust at the thought. Hurting innocents, even if they were ghosts who didn't commit any sins...

"The disgust I feel when I think about destroying them must be from my Ghost Rider side," Jojo thought, lost in deep thought.

"Then why did you kill them?" the girl ghost asked, tilting her head.

"I am the Spirit of Vengeance. My job is to hunt down sinners," Jojo said while looking at the two.

"Mom, that monster... who is he speaking to?" suddenly a voice interrupted their conversation.

When all three turned to the direction of the boy.

"Idiot, don't call him a monster. His name is Ghost Rider." His mother punched his head so hard it nearly popped out of the socket.

"He is speaking to them. Can't you see, idiot?" She pointed to the ghosts.

"Can you see them?" Jojo asked the woman, pointing his finger towards the direction of the ghosts.

The woman nodded her head, looking at Jojo with a confused expression.

Jojo transformed back into his human form. The woman was shocked to see Ghost Rider transform into a 16 to 17-year-old boy.

"Hi... my name is Jojo Sataru." He introduced himself.

"Oh... my name is Jenny Anderson. He is my son, Alex Anderson." The woman introduced herself and her son.

"Jenny, can I ask you something? When did you start seeing them?" Jojo asked while pointing his finger towards the ghosts.

"What do you mean?" She still looked very confused.

"Mom, there is no one there." Alex said with a weird look on his face.

Jenny "____"

The two ghosts started to make fun of Alex in front of his face, but Alex couldn't hear or see them. Seeing this, Jenny started to panic.

"Well... you see, both of them are ghosts." Jojo, seeing her anxious look, started to explain.

"WHATTTT?"

She started to scream, looking at the school girl who was moving her hand inside Alex's chest.

"Shhh... shhh... don't make any noise. If other ghosts know that you can see them, they will start to gather around you and cause trouble for you," Jojo started to calm her down before she attracted any other ghost.

"How?" she asked, trembling and looking towards the woman in the wedding dress who was hanging upside down and looking at her face.

"When I used my power to heal you, you gained the ability to see them," he explained as simply as he could.

"Well, I think we should discuss this matter in my apartment. We will discuss further things there."

Jenny and Alex went to the parking lot and took their car, following Jojo to his apartment. While riding his motorcycle, Jojo felt something different, so he stopped his motorcycle and looked at the back seat. He noticed the two ghosts were sitting on his back seat.

"____"

"This is how you guys followed me?" he asked them, his right eye twitching as he pointed towards his back seat.

"Yes... we sat on your motorcycle when you left the restaurant in a hurry."

Hearing this, Jojo couldn't help but smile wearily, thinking about what type of problems he would face in the future.

Alex and Jenny followed Jojo to his house.

When Jojo opened the door.

"Welcome home, sir." Sara greeted him.

Hearing Sara's voice, both Jenny and Alex were surprised, looking around the house to find who spoke.

"Jenny... Alex, meet my personal assistant, Sara. She is an artificial intelligence," Jojo introduced Sara to them.

"Welcome, Sir Alex and Madam Jenny. I am Sir Jojo's personal assistant," Sara introduced herself in a professional tone.

Both of them were surprised to hear about Sara and questioned her about many things, and Sara answered their questions.

After some time...

Cough... cough...

Jojo coughed to get their attention. The ghosts were sitting on the sofa, watching TV.

"Well, Jenny, can you tell me about yourself and your family before making any decisions about what to do with your powers?" Jojo asked Jenny while drinking water.

"In our family, it's me, my husband, and Alex..."

She started to explain about her family and their situation. After a few minutes.

"My husband is a director, even though his movies are average."

'Even his wife says his movies are average. What kind of trash is he? What dump would even hire him?' Jojo thought with a mocking smile.

"What is the name of your husband?" Jojo asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh... his name is Kang Anderson."

"____"

After Jenny said her husband's name, Jojo's face turned sour.

'Sigh... so that dump is me... uh...'
