Larissa couldn't think straight.
The answer to Jerrod's inquiry was too simple to reply, but she could only open and close her mouth without letting out any word. Their situation is too awkward for Larissa, as Jerrod's dreamy eyes lock into her eyes while they face each other so close.
Jerrod kept his arms around her waist while Larissa froze as she stared at Jerrod's drop-dead gorgeous face. It reminded her how this face made her heart skip a beat back when they were in high school.
Back then, Jerrod was like a star she couldn't reach, but now that star was holding her waist tightly and leaning so close to her face that she could feel his breath.
"Should I push him away? But what if he gets hurt?" She thought internally.
