"Thank you,." Larissa softly said to the taxi driver as she reluctantly got off the taxi.
"I'm sorry, miss. I think you missed your flight."
"No need to apologize. It's the traffic's fault, not us." Larissa replied with a fake smile.
"Okay. Shall I take you home?"
"No. Mister. I still want to check."
"Okay, take care, miss."
"You too."
The taxi driver just gave her a worried look while watching her heavy feet walk away.
It's 4 p.m.
There is no need for her to rush. Surely, the plane to America had departed and Jerrod was gone.
She was an hour late because of traffic, but she's blaming herself more than anything else.

Larissa dryly laughed while she stood in front of the airport without the strength to come in. She just watched the people coming in and out of the revolving door, standing still in front of the entrance for hours until the street lights turned on.
