Tiana Williams hurriedly stopped in her tracks, looking at him with some surprise.
"Landon, why are you here?"
It was midday, not evening.
"Tom Rosenthal brought lunch over; let's talk when we get back," Landon Brooke said indifferently.
Tiana nodded and then followed him.
Back at the Faculty Residence, the table was already set with lunch, all from South River Grand Hotel.
Tiana washed her hands and sat down.
He served her half a bowl of soup and said calmly, "I have to take a trip to Xinora City shortly, and I'll be back the day after tomorrow. Before I leave, I wanted to come see you."
"Xinora City? Why are you suddenly going there?" Tiana asked.
"The State's distant environmental project—it's about building a large hydroelectric power station upstream on Ripple River. You've heard of it, right?" Landon spoke without concealing anything from her.
Upon hearing this, Tiana was somewhat shocked and hurriedly looked up at him.
