"Oh, I didn't know that." Connor looked at Mina and nodded with a smile. "If he really dares to come to you, come tell me and I will help you."

"You will help me?" Mina was stunned and let out a helpless smile when she heard what Connor said. In Mina's eyes, Connor had problems feeding even himself. Where would he get the ability to help her?

"Yes, I will help you," Connor said firmly.

"It's okay. It's no big deal. I don't think that Knowles of Porthampton knows where I live. I am going to be just fine." Mina let Connor save face by tactfully declining.

"Well, then. If there's anything you need, just call me," Connor said calmly.

"I will." Mina did not say anything further since Connor was so enthusiastic. She just nodded silently, and then, she continued to enjoy her grilled wings. After a while, Mina suddenly looked up at Connor. "Why don't you move in with me, Connor?"
