Asher just replied accordingly to those questions spoken in English with a French accent. He didn't push the important men away but, he also didn't get too attached to them.
Tonight marked the second week Asher was abroad. Aside from immersing himself in his own tasks, he was required to attend several social gatherings, tonight was not excluded.
The city mayor where Asher currently was held a lavish birthday party for his beloved wife. The man, Mayor Faulkner extended an invitation to Asher which the latter complied.
