The weather on the next day was as good as yesterday. But, the warm morning sunlight and the crisp autumn breeze did nothing to ease Liliana's troubled heart.
Standing on the balcony of her room, Liliana threw her gaze to the meticulously crafted garden before she looked at the phone in hand. The bright rays basked on her frame clad in a long pastel yellow cardigan.
Liliana tapped on the screen a few times before quietly reading her recent text exchange with Lucas half an hour ago. They had a quick chat before the man resumed his hectic schedule at the hotel.
Liliana wanted to visit Lucas at Queen's Crown Hotel before the event reached its end. But, she couldn't do it until she completed her goal today.
The celebration would conclude this Sunday. With only a few days left, Liliana was eager to see the pieces Lucas and his teammates crafted.
