A police officer in casual clothes questioned Lucas sternly. The former's sharp gaze sent jitters to the already shaken young man.
Lucas pressed his lips tight, shaking his head a few times, denying what the officer had just questioned him about. He clasped his hands together, trying not to be scared by the officer.
"I did nothing to her, officer. I really did nothing," Lucas repeated his previous words, denying the allegations.
After the people appeared because of Daphne's shoutings, Lucas was quickly apprehended by several men. They called the police, saying there was a rape attempt happened in the back alley.
In the chaos, Lucas was brought to the police station. As the 'victim', Daphne followed too but, with a different car. A few people were strung along as the key witnesses.
