Mrs. Fu spared some time to think of Liliana's inquiry. Scouring until the back of her memory, she could only think of a few things.
"I think there's no specific charity here. But, the town hall does help the needy from time to time. Do you know our mayor? Mayor Han?"
Nodding, Liliana responded, "Isn't she the town's first female mayor? She's still young but is doing a good job until now."
Mayor Madeline Han was the first female mayor of Springfield Town. She was in her mid-30s. From the little that Liliana heard about her, she was diligently trying to make the town better than before.
"Yes. Mayor Han always goes around the area to look at the situation herself, especially at Meadowbrooke Village. She doesn't rely on her subordinates only."
The village mentioned by Mrs. Fu was an area in Springfield Town, located in the west. Liliana hadn't been there but, she had heard that the place was so run-down.
