The Monster She Was

Jealousy was like a wildfire that spread without control. After that day, there was a huge crack in her relationship with Braden. The boy kept a noticeable distance from her. Thus, a relationship from childhood ended in a twinkle of an eye. 

Although he didn't say it out, Aimee knew Braden suspected she manipulated him that night, not that she cared anymore - she told herself.

However, it was hard not to see Braden as he was everywhere, in her school, across the street, and her thoughts. He tormented her without even knowing it, especially each time she saw him with his boyfriend.

She knew the girl, an exchange student from a few months ago. Thankfully, she wasn't in the same grade with her else Aimee would have died from jealousy.

However, Aimee hated her, she took everything away from her. Everything had been going well between her and Barden until she came in between them. Her best friend doesn't even talk to her anymore.
