"Everything seems fine, you're having a healthy child. Congratulations to you, Aimee," The technician said to Aimee as she got off the bed, wiping the gel off her stomach.
She had come to get a scan of her baby and see if there were other complications on the way. Aimee needed to be prepared for that because she has made up her mind, she was not giving up on this baby.
The doctors called the baby's survival a miracle, the young one seemed determined to come into this world and yes, she was having a boy - contrary to her expectation.
She couldn't help but envision the baby with her blonde locks and Carlos's amber eyes. Of course, the baby would take after her, why should he resemble his ugly dad? Aimee didn't know how to do it but she was sure things would work well - she was trying to be positive as suggested by her therapist.
