41 The plan in action

It was already dusk when we got out of the restaurant. It is time for the plan to start. We are on the way to Favonius headquarters.

"Where did Knight of Favonius acquire so many explosives?"

"We can't tell you, It's classified but, you're an Honorary Knight you should be eligible to know."

"I'm not familiar with military conduct but isn't it usually not the case?"

"You're right. Nonetheless, you have considerable achievements. That's enough of a reason I guess. Also, it's not highly classified information to begin with."

"..."

"Don't look at me like that you're making me blush." Lisa put her hand on her cheek. She quickly returned to normal and then added. "We have a special member who specializes in making explosives. A rowdy yet cute little catastrophe with destruction tendencies."

"That little one, she's one of a problem that gives Jean a headache." Eula shook her head. "How can such a thing exist? She doesn't have self-restraint. There was one time she dozed off when Jean told me to teach her etiquette."

"I heard it was quite a hectic."

"Haah~ she doesn't have any intent to learn. She just loves to send her little explosives to deal troublesome matters."

I think I have a clue who are they talking about. Seeing their helpless expressions, I can't help but chuckle.

"Looks like you two got it hard."

"How couldn't we? She told me to blow up the Library because it's too quiet and she wanted to use my workshop, I had to say no to her lest my important things would be in pieces when I come back."

Eula nods in agreement. She was holding my hand as we were walking on the streets. Our group of three attracted people. Admiration can be heard. Who wouldn't stare at beautiful girls? Not to mention, they are drop-dead gorgeous. It's natural to attract attention.

But, the men are looking at me with hatred.

Eula holding my hand lovingly, while Lisa on the other hand clings to my arm; sandwiched between her humongous breasts. Their hatred is valid.

Of course, I didn't cower at their gaze. I flaunted more, I pulled my arm suddenly. As if they thought I cowered, my course of action made things worse. I put my arm around their waist, pulling the two women closer to me.

Eula and Lisa's faces turn slightly red. They are not oblivious to the looks of the people around them. They know what I'm intending to do.

"How bold of you, Sweety," Lisa whispered seductively.

As if looks could kill, I would have been dead a million times.

I don't think these idiots will make a move. If they have eyes that can see beauty they will see that these beauties with me have 'Visions'.

As for my Vision. I did not need it, also it would be pointless as it would only attract suspicions.

Not long, we arrived at our destination.

When we got into the meeting room. All of the team is not here yet. Well, they should be having dinner or so. Lumine, Paimon, Amber, Noelle, Mika, and Aliya were already inside. Chatting with each other or better known as making friends.

Mika was quiet as he did not know what to do. He is the only boy around.

Surprisingly, Noelle was having a conversation with the others pretty well.

"Really Noelle? That's amazing, maybe I should try it next time."

"Yes, it was delicious. It's to be expected since it's a local specialty. I thought that Monstadt is already good but I have never thought it would be even more delicious in the place where it was founded."

"Maybe I should visit other cities too in the future."

"What about you Lumine? What do you think about our dishes?"

"It's delicious. I also want to try more. There is this dish that I like in this city..."

That's what I overheard when we arrived.

"Ah, Ronan is here!" Paimon who was drooling as they talked about food noticed me. She flew toward me.

"Where did you go?"

"I was having a chat with them." I pointed at Lisa and Eula who were not in my embrace anymore. Eula decided to join the conversation.

Lisa on the other hand approached Aliya. I don't know what they are talking about but Aliya's expression became excited for a reason.

"Eula and Lisa?"

"Yeah."

"Okay. Did you know Lumine and I found some interesting things...blah blah."

Paimon told me many things. From useless things to some important things. I sat next to Eula, joining the conversation they had a while ago.

Amber keeps glaring at me. Tsk tsk tsk. What did I even do to this girl?

Four teams will be infiltrating the Ruins. My team consists of Me, Lumine, Lisa, and Amber. 4 roles. Defender, Vanguard, Spellcaster, and Archer.

Eula, Aliya, and two I don't know I do not know. Aliya seemed to be a spellcaster a catalyst, a Dendro holder.

Noelle, Mika and the other 2 as for the third team.

The last one, I don't know them.

Rizark will not participate as he is needed in Calla City if something happens.

"You sure this is the right place?" Paimon asked.

"It should be," Lisa replied calmly.

"But I don't see anything but a dilapidated hut." Paimon pointed at the structure in front of us.

"Let's go."

When we entered the hut. Lisa crouched down as she pulled a lever below the ground on the corner. In the middle of the hut, the mechanical sound of a gear turning. The wooden floor opened revealing a set of stairs down below.

"See, It's still here."

"How did you know there is a mechanism around here?"

"I've read about these ruins and its secrets. This place was already explored by the Knight of Favonius centuries ago. It's not surprising they know the ins and outs."

"I see." I nodded.

Our group proceeded to down the stairs. What we saw below is a big hall with a portal rotating in the middle.

"I think this place is used for emergency evacuation to the ancient people who lived in the Ruins," Amber said.

"Correct. Because this portal leads to a secret room in the Ruins."

" Okay everyone, Listen. You already have the bombs with you. Be careful with them okay? They may look small but they are dangerous. Remember your missions. Do not prolong the fight and lie low." Eula is the captain of Knight of Favonius, so it's given she takes the command.

Everyone nodded their heads. Then the members of Knights of Favonius saluted.

I glance at Eula, she sensed me looking at her. Our eyes meet. I can see worries in her eyes, maybe she can see worries for her in my aura. We nodded to each other.

My team got in first. My heart is beating nervously. Inside this portal, thousands of enemies reside. What we need is not to get discovered.
