Meeting Jean alone

"Do you know why you're here?" A calm yet filled with oppressive voice sounded through my ears.

I was sitting on a chair facing the person without showing any reaction. I didn't flinch in front of her oppressive aura.

Well, after taking the ransom. I'm already stronger than Jean. My power alone can dominate everyone in Mondstadt for now, as most of the powerful people are in expedition.

The reason why Mondstadt have low level people.

"Sigh~ Master Jean. Do you think I'm dumb not knowing that? I've already investigated and I know my actions very well. See? You did not even capture me and threw me in the dungeon." I spread my arms. Spitting facts in front of her.

Jean's beautiful face frowned upon hearing my answer. She rub between her brows with her thumb as if she's dealing with a big problem. "Ugh, how did that cold lady feel in love with you." She whispered. However, I heard that.

"That's because I'm so handsome and charming. Girls fell in love with me left and right even if I did not pursue them myself." I answered with a smirk on my face.

I could see Jean's fair face turning red. She glared at me. I chuckled at her reaction, You can't hide anything from me little Jean. Lisa told me the things you read.

"Ahem, what are you saying. Don't be vulgar Honorary Knight Ronan. This is a serious interview." Jean pretended to cough as she turn her head to the side and chided.

Pfft, she's too innocent. Anyways, she may be an easy target but she's tough one. She didn't see my aura that would mean she hasn't feel anything about me yet.

"Okay Okay. Can we wrap this up Master Jean. I still have to meet Lisa tonight."

Her face is turning even more red like a tomato. Hahaha, this is so funny. She's a pervert alright. Without even explaining it, she already knew what I hinted.

The reason why I called you here as I'd like to invite you and your companion to join in an expedition in Mondstadt. We found traces of Dvalin's power in one of the Ruins." Jean quickly recovered herself from being embarrassed.

"So fast?" I asked in surprised.

"There is nothing so fast about it. The team I sent to investigate have just arrived earlier these morning. We did not move just know that's a little bit to fast isn't it?" Jean looked at me weirdly.

I scratched my face. Well, I mean this is a little bit too fast in progression? Shouldn't there some step or mission first? Like searching for that androgynous god or something?

Not that I'm complaining right?

"Ronan?" Jean called out. She didn't call me with some title now. Meaning she's not in her strict mode.

"Oh, Yeah, about that. We will go with you." I answered directly. There is no need to think about it. I'm sure Lumine and Paimon will go.

Apart from searching for her twin brother, Lumine loves adventure. She may not show it on the outside but she is. When I'm not with her, she and Paimon would explore every corner of the map.

What more, she loves searching for treasure chest. Just the other day, she found multiple chest with great treasures. I remember Paimon getting excited as she explained the process.

"That's nice to hear, I'm glad you accepted the offer... I heared that you came up with the plan retaliating the enemies." Jean put her hands together with a clap, with a small smile on her face.

"Hahaha, I did not think the plan would work at that time. Thankfully it did or else I wouldn't know what to do if it failed."

"In the end it worked. That was very great plan. How about you join the meeting early tomorrow for the planning?" Jean praised.

"Well, I don't mind." I shrugged. Ugh, I hate meetings. But I did not voice it out.

"Good. I'll be expecting your presence tomorrow then?"

After she said those words I nodded. But I'm not stupid enough to not realize she was chasing me out. But I did not stand up, I pretended not to see the hint.

"..." Jean look at the me sitting in front of her awkwardly.

To be honest, Jean wanted to chase this person in front of her quickly. After all, as an avid romance reader, to have a the cold woman Eula and mature lady Lisa fell for this guy. There should be a reason.

She had to let her guard up against this kind of person.

Seeing the guy not responding to her hint. She became frustrated. She is not a rude one to chase someone out bluntly. Normally, everyone would easily find the hints. But this is the first time she dealt with this one.

Not like Lisa and Eula who's mindset are different from Jean. Jean treated her love life as romance. In other words she wants drama.

I stood up and approach her table as I stare at her eyes. She also stared at me but she did not react, she became even more flustered though she did not show it.

"I'll meet you tomorrow then." I said and turned around and walked away without turning back.

Jean watch at the fading figure at the door speechless. Her face became hotter as it turned red. She touch her cheeks as she muttered under breath. "What was that?!?"

She squeeled.
