Genshin: New Archon of Mondstadt

Charles Storm a nerdy streamer and a recently retired MMA lightweight world champion. Using his mind games inside and outside of the octagon, paired with his insane fighting IQ became one of the best strikers ever seen. His mind games on stream which eventually led to Genshin Impact was called “a waste of time”. While this was made fun off by audiences, fans, opponents and in press conferences. This paved the way for more attention, a rise in stock and the capitalization of fame in situation. Gaining more fights through the sheer exposure the gaming community gave. After retirement though his health wasn't all great as the last fight deeply ingrained itself inside Charles’ head. Literally... With a late shown up injury a few weeks later to his head. His health suddenly started declining and with his vision blurring he is suddenly woken up. ‘Hold on a god damn minute, that’s f*cking Venti!’ [Archon System] ________ •MC will become OP eventually, just not immediately it will take time. He will “earn” his power through quests and actually training. Using resources to upgrade himself. •Alex Storm isn't a real person but if you had to base him off someone he would be inspired in a mix of Demetrious Johnson and Alexander Volkanovski. Mostly Might Mouse though, much love no homo ;) •The MC won't immediately go to Mondstadt as the MC will think his situation out using his system. •Charles is more of a Lawful Good side of the spectrum while sometimes leaning into the Chaotic Good corner. •The MC’s system won’t control him with any mission failures but will have either indefinite or a extended prior of time to complete a mission. You will get to know how it works by reading ~_~ ________

----{Start}----

Staring into the night sky, the sun has set just an hour ago and the Hilichurls should be wondering where their friend has gone. I'm not exactly sure how they communicate with each other or how they treat each other, so I'll avoid talking to them.

To let the time pass I started to collect some food like apples, sunsettia and berries. While some are easy to find like berries growing on the ground and the occasional acorn. Sunsettas and apples were on trees most of the time and wouldn't fall down.

I wonder how I could implement these things into some dishes I want to make later on. Making food is going to be half the fun of being in Teyvat.

While it wasn't uncommon to see fallen stuff, they were in abundance on trees and scouring around isn't my style. Thankfully using my Anemo powers isn't restricted at all as a Hilichurl, my energy gets drained easily though and taking breaks after minimal usage is normal. It's just that having hands feels better to me.

Even though I don't need to hunt for animals as I have fruits, these do not provide all the nutrients my body needs. So hunting animals won't go old even when I'm a Snow Leopard.

With my [Beginner Anemo Control] still being a passive, using gusts of wind to knock down fruits after a while helped me get used to the element. But it didn't level up my control as I suppose with that level of passive it wouldn't be difficult to perform those tricks.

'Storage...'

[Opening storage...]

[Storage: Acorn (14), Apple(54), Berry(38), Boar, Boar Fur, Cubic Metre of Water, Flint Spear, Hilichurl, Mora (1500), Rabbit, Rabbit Fur, Sunsettia(41)]

My inventory had quite the collection of items which satisfied my inner loot goblin. Seriously, I take my time to loot and squeeze everything out of a game or level. My brain can't handle leaving a material behind.

'I should probably taste one before I go.' I thought summoning an apple to my hand.

*Crunch*

Taking a big bite I could feel the juices go into my mouth with it hitting all my taste buds.

'Holy sh*t that's good. It's as if some scientist edited the fruit to be as juicy as it could.'

The multitude of dishes that could use apples like this hit my head like a truck.

Taking a second look at the apple I proceed to finish it off before throwing it away with a grin. With that over, hopefully, my little trip to the Hilichurl camp will be as fruitful as that apple was juicy.

'Map... Pin.'

[Camp - 139m]

Making my way to the camp through the open grassy lands, it only took a few minutes until I spotted a lit campfire. Getting closer to a spot I could watch from, the sight of three droopy Hilichurls entered my vision.

One Hilichurl was already fast asleep while the other two were by the campfire with one standing up.

"Beru si?" A Hilichurl asks walking to one of the mats.

"Celi, Da nunu" The other awake Hilichurl responds holding up a leather container.

Watching the two converse I still had no idea what they were talking about even as a Hilichurl. I suppose their language doesn't come instinctually but learnt? But that makes some sort of sense as they are still intelligent.

I mean there is a whole ass book online for Hilichurl words, not like I'd remember any of that.

With a few minutes passing, the Hilichurl with a bottle started to make his way to the pond.

'I can kill one here.' I thought seeing that his other buddy went to sleep. Now only one Hilichurl was awake and was busy which created the perfect chance to eliminate the one alone.

Getting out of my hiding place, I made my way towards the pond to where the recently arrived Hilichurl arrived. He was just refilling the bottle and washing himself.

*Splash*

'No wonder these guys can live so openly, they are very cautious.'

The Hilichurl despite doing a task was attentive to his surroundings. If I didn't know it was like they were expecting someone to ambush them. Pretty sure someone becoming one of them isn't on their bingo cards though.

Walking out of cover I enter the vision of the guy who spotted me soon after, but to my relief, he just looked back at the pond without much concern.

Getting closer I got prepared to summon the flint spear from the old Hilichurl.

But as I closed in the Hilichurl seemed to have finished his task and did the universal "come here" sign.

"Yo movo."

Not saying anything I just followed along as he showed his back to me. Using this opportunity I summon the flint spear and quickly stab the neck without any hesitation.

*Sqwelp!*

'One down, two more to go.'

Getting on the ground I store the Hilichurl right after messily retrieving the bloodied flint spear.

[Analysing...]

[Storing Leather Bottle and Hilichurl Confirmed!]

Removing all the evidence to some degree because of other potential predators, I swiftly made my way to the camp.

*Tap* *Tap*

'They're sound asleep.'

*Sqwelch!*

Taking my spear I quickly killed one with a simple stab to the neck which made a small noise. While I could have gone for the head or heart, I'm honestly not sure if they die as the heart I have as a Hilichurl doesn't beat at all, and the head is not the ideal spot to stab with a flint weapon.

These skinny arms couldn't do sh*t even if it wanted to.

{Novice Bloodlust} Lv.6 > Lv.7

Turning back to the last guy, I suddenly see him flinch making my eyes gain a darkness.

[Imposing Will (Active)]

[Novice Bloodlust (Active)]

'He's shaking now.'

Taking the same spear I used to end the others, I dash towards the guy quickly stabbing his neck in break record time.

*Sqwelch!*

[1 Reward Unclaimed!]

The mission was surprisingly simple but I didn't want to take any risks as they are a crafty bunch. Proof of that was the Hilichurl that sneaked up on me and almost got the headshot.

Gathering all the loot up like weapons and their bodies, I bring them to the chest to store everything in one touch.

'Let the loot flow through buddy! Claim... Storage.'

[Rewards: 2000 Mora]

[Analysing...]

[Storing 2 hilichurl, 3 flint spear, 4 wooden clubs, 1628 Mora, 2 anemo sigils, 3 iron chunks, chest, basic wood bow, Confirmed!]

Looking at the rewards my eyes gloss over all of them besides the iron chunks and the Anemo sigils.

While I can use the chunks to upgrade my storage to three cubic metres. Technically in Genshin we still don't know the use of these sigils.

With my little escapade now finished I went back into my Snow Leopard form and ran to my stone home.

After the next day rocked up I immediately went back to experimenting with my powers and realised I needed more offensive attacks. While {Gust Surge} is a decent attack, it's not able to tear through objects like water or defend me.

Unlike a condensed slash which should be an amazing skill for offence while also being in a closed or open environment depending on my control. {Gust Surge} is meant to pull in everything in its surroundings and may not do much or any damage at all depending on my opponent.

As you can't seriously tell me a mini tornado with no wind cuts will do much to opponents in a world like Genshin.

'This looks like a nice area.' I thought walking through the grassy plains.

Currently, I was in an open area which was a decent distance away from home. It looked similar to the open space seen in the game world with random ponds and single trees out in the open.

The overall look was way better and easier to see as it was daytime.

Unlike in real life, though the grass and trees had an exaggerated saturation like a bright painting, the air felt clear helping me calm myself mentally. While I wanted to improve my current anemo skills being able to deal actual damage with these powers is important for my goals.

'First I need to be able to focus my anemo energy on a medium like a sword. Maybe my claws?' I question myself as I proceed to try it out.

It was my best guess as forming a slash mid-air would probably take too long or could be predicted quite easily.

Taking a few heavy breaths I started using my sixth sense to channel anemo to my claws. The charge-up took just a little more than half my energy tank if I had to guess.

As I slashed forward feeling the energy was about to burst out, to my surprise I got what I wanted and a little more.

*WHOOSH!*

Three huge wind gales could be spotted coming out of my claws and directly gaining shape. Unfortunately for me, I couldn't get a good look initially as the gust of wind sent me flying a couple metres back making my heart skip a beat.

'Holy f*ck! Wait it's still ongoing.'

Looking forward there were three wind slashes which were now a couple metres spread apart. They were each as tall as a three-story house which honestly was impossible to guess the height of. The slash was tearing up the ground as dirt and grass could be seen flung up into the air making a huge mess of the area.

Just a few moments later the slash started to lose its shape dissipating back into the air. With clear amazement in my gaping mouth, a sudden bell rings in my mind.

[New skill created: {Gale Slash} Lv.1]

'Now I got a real attack buddy.'

With that problem now fixed I was able to stretch myself out to defence for now. These thoughts later helped me make another move and also improve on a previous skill that I "made" just a few days ago.

[New skill created: {Gale Barrier} Lv.1]

[Skill evolution! {Gust Surge} Lv.1 > {Gale Hurricane} Lv.2]

'Wait does that mean I can't use {Gust Surge} anymore?' I thought staring at the pop-up. Walking towards the already traumatised grasslands where I experimented with my anemo powers, I proceed to conjure up a gust.

The basic idea of "gale" in terms of my skills is the small wind blades that constantly cut. This also keeps itself in a tornado-like state which makes it extremely violet hence the name "gale" in front of the three skills.

*Swoosh!*

A small tornado exactly the same as the first time I did it started to manifest making my theory clear to my eyes. While my skills can evolve their previous "state" can still be used but I assume it still had the same level of efficiency.
