Tear the Skies

The next day came and our group is currently waiting for Kokomi, with her will be an entourage of Sangonomiya's guards, Gorou included. The time I had with Gorou is little, but I think we are close enough to be friends rather than merely acquaintances.

There were a lot of preparations made by both the Resistance and the Shogunate since my appearance to fix Yashiori Island was announced publicly on all of Inazuma Archipelago. Everyone is excited and curious to see the new god's powers, my abilities, because they can only see the Raiden Shogun in action during war, or emergencies that the army couldn't handle.

"Can you really fix the thing with Kokomi later Lu? Will you even have time to do it?" Lumi-Lumi asked anxiously.

"You and Makoto didn't even tell us what you proposed to her. Hmph!" She pouted, how cute.

"Don't worry, there's enough time. And I also have a different offer reserved for you Lumi-Lumi." I winked at her teasingly. How do I do it with slit eyes? Don't ask me!

"Eh? Ummm... Okay... What's with the nickname?" Ah shit, I said it out loud.

"I just thought of it. Cute, don't you think? I feel like we are close enough to use nicknames. Am I the only one who felt that way?" I faked the sadness in my face.

"No!" She immediately shouted, drawing the attention of the two other girls with us playing together. She slowly sat down, embarrassed at what had happened.

"Un... I mean I don't mind it Ziya." I stared at her, amused at what she picked.

"There shouldn't be anyone who knows about the fake name you gave me... so it should be fine right?" She questioned while blushing. I intentionally stalled a bit since its amusing seeing her fidget in her seat from time to time. Cute.

"Its good. No... it's perfect since its not a fake name in the first place, just an old one." I replied with something more than my usual smile. I kept the fact that Paimon also knows about it to myself. The atmosphere changed as well into silence, staring as if zoned into one another. The twin stalkers have stopped watching me for a while now, so maybe-

"Don't treat us like air Lu-chan~!" Knew it was too good to be true.

"Back off you flirty god! Don't you still have that problem with Kokomi?!" Ah yes, who can it be other than my favorite floating plushie.

"There will be time for Kokomi later! Right now is Lumi-Lumi's screentime!" I yelled proudly at their faces.

" " Womanizer! " " They said at the same time, before rolling their eyes.

"You have a wife! How about you focus on arranging a proper marriage first you brute!" Paimon argued. Oh yeah, the marriage...

"I don't really mind your antics Lu... but don't push your luck too far... since I might do something drastic." Scary!

"Ah-haha... Kokomi and the others should be near us now. How about we focus on that for now?" As I said that, someone knocked on the door. Perfect Timing! Is it really perfect if I planned it though?

"We should talk about this matter later Lumi-Lumi. If possible, I want it when there's only two of us~." I whispered in her ear, teasingly. She yelped in surprise, but was able to respond with a nod. I then decided to open the door as if nothing had happened.

"Hey there folks! And good day to you divine priestess Kokomi! Stunning as always, I am deeply honored to see your beauty." Kokomi hid behind Gorou while blushing as the others stared at me with mixed feelings. The commotion at the village with Lumine spread faster than I thought. Gorou just stood there with a wry smile.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

We made our way to the coast near Yashiori Island with Kokomi being silent the whole trip. She dodged every action I made to converse with her beautifully. I can't really get mad since I can see her blushing with every rejection. It seems like she knew nothing about the art of the heart.

"Here we are. We should be able to see what happens clearly on Yashiori Island from this spot." Gorou stated, and we all stopped to appreciate the view. I was able to notice a ton of people waiting, glancing at the island frequently to not miss it.

"I guess this is where we part ways. How unfortunate that I can't take you all to the skies for a better experience." I lied slyly, but it seemed like someone noticed it.

"What do you mean? You should have enough power to carry the whole arm-- Hmmp?."

"Shush now Makoto, just let me do my thing." I stopped as fast as I could, but it's impossible for Lumine and her noisy companion to miss it since they're right beside her. Thankfully, I was able to hint at them to keep quiet. Paimon definitely didn't, but Lumi-Lumi shut her mouth. Good Job!

"My my, no need to think too much and just watch the show! I'll be going, I hope you enjoy it as I take pride in being flashy." I smirked at that last part. Flashy and sneaky are just four letters different after all.

"Good luck out there Ziya!"

"You can do it Lu-chan!"

"I hope you fail, Heh!"

...

"I'm looking forward to it... your majesty..." I flashed a smile at them. She wasn't able to continue the silent treatment after all. After a few more words from the others, I summoned by steed, and flew to the sky like a sir.

Every person noticed me in the skies of Inazuma and cheered. I don't know if they are able to see from the farther islands, but I'm ready to sate their curiousity. Let's do this as flashy as I can, shall we?

I got as high in the sky in terms of visibility and got my old armament to tore through the sky.
