Pyro Geniuses

"Lu Nii-sama! Help us please! Our experiment is about to explode in any second now!" A panicking Chiyo hurriedly exclaimed, after noticing me appear.

"You're such a worrywart Chiyo! Leave it to me! I should be able to stop it! I think..." Shouted the other panicking accomplice, trying to stop the thing from exploding.

"Eh?! It ain't going out out! What should we do now, Chiyo?! I can't stop this thing!" Exclaimed Yoimiya, noticing how futile her actions were.

"Get away from it Yoimiya! Please do something about it Nii-sama!" Chiyo said while hugging me, waking me up from my daze.

'What the hell even is that thing?!!! There is too much pyro inside it! If I'm not mistaken, then that has enough power to rival a nuke!!' Finishing my thoughts, I immediately carried both of them by the waist. We flew up to the sky with my magecraft, as I took the contained bomb with us.

I can't really use my wings, or any flashy things in particular since its nighttime. Carrying the two girls with me, I teleported the bomb into the skies above the silent waters of Narukami Island. There, I made a barrier surrounding it to block the loud sound it might produce.

 It didn't take long for the bomb to explode, lighting up the skies of Inazuma and amazing the two pyrotechnicians beside me. The humongous firework show ended, and we landed back at Yoimiya's workshop.

"How about you two explain what happened now? Hmm?" I interrogated the two with a strict tone.

"Umm... We just decided to do a contest about which one of us can make better fireworks..." Yoimiya started explaining slowly.

"Then? How did it come to this?" I questioned, pushing them to continue.

"...There is only a few materials left, enough for just one firework. So we decided on testing our pyro ability..." Chiyo continued to explain the reason.

"Then, both of you used pyro element over and over which resulted in that thing. Am I right?" I scolded, and the nervous culprits nodded quickly. The two of them looked at each other for a moment, before turning to me.

" " We're Sorry! " " Both of them bowed and said at the same time.

" Sigh* Its fine, but you should've done your experiment outside, maybe near the shore if possible." I said with my usual smile, since they sincerely apologized, then suggested to the two.

"We didn't think about that... I guess, we were just too caught up in the moment? Hahaha... Tee-hee!" Yoimiya replied, while doing that adorable pose.

'In a normal situation, this would've been cute... In a normal situation, that is! These two energetic idiots almost blew up Inazuma City!' I quickly dismissed my thoughts, before I got a headache.

"Rest for a bit, you two should be quite tired after that. I'll bring out some sweets as we talk." I gestured for the two to sit down, and they did while I prepared the table.

"I remembered that I didn't introduce myself earlier, I'm Raiden Lu. Just call me Lu, Yoimiya." I said with my usual smile, to the now tired energetic girl.

"Oh?! So you're that new god, no wonder! Nice to meetcha Lu!" Answered Yoimiya, back to her lively self.

'It definitely is refreshing, having such a carefree person to chat with. I should help Chiyo out a bit.' Done with my monologue, I disabled the illusion around my sister's horns.

"Don't worry too much about it, Chiyo. Yoimiya doesn't seem like a person who cares about such things." I whispered to the confused oni as I pointed to her horns, showing her that there's no need to hide it.

"Wow! This sweets are flavourful! How did you make it?!" Yoimiya exclaimed, while checking out each one that I prepared.

"Sugar, sugar, and more sugar. Its always good to have some sweets ready for your brain." I answered as I started eating too, to calm myself about what had happened.

"Don't think too much about it, just think that this guy can bring out anything!" Said the cheeky oni, joining us for the sweets.

"How rude! I made them in the kitchen myself when I have free time. Sweet things are one of the things I need, as a strategist." I retorted, not allowing the two to get any weird ideas.

"Well, you're a god ain'tcha?! So I won't question it, you guys are bound to look weird to other's anyway." Yoimiya said with a smirk, helping the oni out.

'How did this end up to having two cheeky girls bullying me?! They are getting along well with each other I guess, so I won't complain!' I noted to myself. We continued our chat for a while, then decided to go back to Tenshukaku since it's already late at night.

"You've been acting weirdly, Nii-sama." Chiyo suddenly said as we arrived.

"Hmm? What do you mean, Chiyo?" I asked about what she noticed differently earlier.

"You didn't do that usual thing you always do when meeting someone!" The oni exclaimed, in which I only tilted my head in confusion.

"You didn't try to flirt with Yoimiya a single time earlier! That's weird of you!" Chiyo shouted loudly with accusation, to which my smile twitched a bit.

"I don't flirt with others, that's false accusation! I only do it to make them feel vulnerable against me! Its a strategic action! Completely different from flirting!" I retorted to the judge. She only responded by staring at me blankly.

"As for why I didn't do that... She just reminded me of you, so I thought a passive approach would be much better for the situation." I explained my weirdness to the oni.

"Enough of that! Can you let me scan your abilities Chiyo? I've been curious for a long time now, especially with the incident earlier." I quickly requested to change the topic.

"Hmm? How would you do that?" Chiyo asked curiously to my request.

"Just let me do my thing, I'll show you once I'm done." I answered to the oni, and she responded by nodding. Getting her permission, I immediately did my usual scan.
