Leaders of Narukami Island

(Flashback - Ei's POV)

Today, Makoto suddenly called for me, she wanted me to meet someone she said. Its been a few years since she started to unite the Narukami island. When I asked her why she decided to do it, she said its so we can live in peace so I supported her decision.

My sister Makoto, we are born twin gods of lightning though we do not know our parents or it might be creators since I do not know how gods are born as we just suddenly awakened one day.

We lived knowing nothing and learned as we grow but I do not know our exact age since gods have no sense of time. It should be a few centuries at least I estimated. We wandered from one village to another until we found a place we felt comfortable to stay.

My sister Makoto is a kind god akin to the sun as she brings happiness to those around her. While I am a moon, nothing but her shadow who follows her in everything she does and my only wish is for us to be together.

After we found what we considered our home, she decided to rally and unite the villages into one so our home does not disappear like the other villages we saw in our journey. It definitely is something I expected her to do since it suits her personality perfectly.

"Im here sister." I said as i knocked on the door to a room. A room made for her use, a place where she works daily as a leader.

"Come in!" a cheerful voice answered. I opened the door seeing my sister looking no different from me except her hair that is flowing freely unlike my ponytail one and her vibrant face as she smiles at me.

I was about to greet her but I saw someone else in the room. A man sitting cozily in a chair who looks like in his early 20s with long black hair nearing brown with a tengu mask attached to the upper right side of his head.

"A pleasure to finally to meet you. I am Sasayuri the leader of the tengu faction which originates from Narukami Island." the man named Sasayuri said standing up as his eyes flickers in understanding and his face twitching from shock while extending his hands towards me.

"Ei" i said plainly as i took his hands and shook it in return.

"So you really have a twin sister and she is as beautiful as you are." Sasayuri smirked teasingly.

"I told you I am not lying over and over but you didn't believe me hmph." said the pouting Makoto ignoring his playfulness.

"No no, how can I believe you since everything you told me about her is too much for me handle." said Sasayuri trying to appease my sister.

"What have you been telling him about me Makoto?" I questioned looking straight into her eyes.

"Hiiiiii, don't get mad at me Ei-chan. I just told him how amazing you are and I am proud of you as your sister." answered my sister with a bright smile puffing out her almost non-existent chest.

Blushing lightly I ignored her and sat in one of the chairs around the table two seats away at the right of my sister.

"What a beautiful bond between sisters. Am I in celestia?" Sasayuri jokingly said while laughing sitting on the chair at the other side of the table in front of Makoto.

"Ehem, So about the reason I called you here today Ei." my sister said with a serious expression, getting straight to the point while ignoring the weird man.

"I called you to come here to show my trust and seriousness in entering an alliance with the tengu faction. What do you think Sasayuri?" my sister continued.

"I already have my answer do not worry. How shrewd you truly are, Makoto." Sasayuri smiled wryly.

"Against you I might have a chance but there is no way for me to win in a fight with your sister. With me being the strongest among the tengus, theres only one answer for your invitation." Sasayuri continued while standing pushing his chair behind him.

"Sasayuri, leader of the tengu faction accepts your invitation my lord!" said Sasayuri loudly kneeling on the ground his spreading his four tengu wings for us to see clearly.

"Makoto, God of peace and lightning, leader of the nation of humans Inazuma accepts you tengus to be the first supernatural race under my rule!" Makoto proclaimed with elegance while floating using the electro element, sparks heard across the room.

This marks the beginning of my sister's plan to get all the supernatural factions in Narukami island under her to make the whole island be a territory for the country of Inazuma. Peace is within our reach and I will do everything I can for our wish.

The two stared for a while until someone broke the silence.

"Welcome to Inazuma Sasayurin. I hope we make a good team." my sister said cheerfully while smiling.

"I also pray for that day to come Makoto." Sasayuri responded while returning a smile.

"Makoto, do you really need to do that?" I said looking intently at this sister of mine.

"Of course Ei-chan. Even with only three of us here , the Agreement is still an official and important event for Inazuma." answered my sister while her smile brightens more. I wanted to say that she just wanted to show off and enjoy the situation but i refrained since it worked anyway.

"I also look forward working with you Ei." Sasayuri said as he looks at me while smiling.

"Same to you Sasayuri." I replied nonchalantly as I look into him.

"If I remember correctly, you said that you are the strongest among the tengu and that you have a chance against Makoto so how about a spar." I requested with excitement as his face froze.

"Then I will accept your challenge but I hope you don't mind doing it at a later date since I still have something to do back in my place as the faction leader." he quickly said, his frozen face quickly changing into a smile.

"I will hold you onto that Sasayuri." I replied while changing into a soft smile through excitement.

"I am more of a commander than a warrior so i hope you go easy on me but I look forward to it Ei." said Sasayuri with a fake smile as he hurriedly escaped from the tense atmosphere using his tengu wings to fly away from the balcony with the room being two floors from the ground. He definitely is fast, I noted.

"He caught your eye or something Ei-chan?" asked Makoto teasingly having a grin on her face.

"Nothing, I just got bored training by myself day by day so it would be nice to have a sparring partner other than you Makoto." I answered with a bored tone.

"How boring."Makoto pouted with a deflated tone as I ready leave the room.

"See you later sister." saying my goodbye.

"Alright you do your thing. Bye bye Ei-chan, see you later." Hearing her reply I left the room.
