66 Invitations 1

"Ehm... Here is the actual invitation letter, your majesty." Childe awkwardly said. He kneeled for his performance, but quickly realized that he won't be able to deliver the letter if he's that far.

A few giggles were heard from the crowd, mainly Lumine, which embarrassed the already ashamed Harbinger more.

Lumine's excessive laughter was due to knowing how the shady deity, play... He could've just teleported the letter to his hand, but he didn't.

"Hmm? Let's see what she wrote for me-" Raiden Lu cheerfully opened the letter before freezing like winter has finally come for him. Naturally, this wasn't left unnoticed by everyone in the room.

"Thank you for the wonderful gift~." He said sarcastically, then crumpled the 'Tsaritsa's letter'. Tartaglia was angered by his action, but also curious of what the letter contained due to the receivers reaction.

('Come meet me or else...' Huh... I thought she would like my gift, too... maybe its the message with it that ticked the icy princess off?) Lu gave his usual smile like nothing happened at all.

(I swear, I was merely intrigued! That's all of it, I promise! I only questioned her about it because all the old women I know are pure...)

"What do you think, Lumi-Lumi?" The slit-eyed gentleman inquired seriously.

"L-Lumi-Lumi-What?! And why are you asking me about this?!" The flustered traveler replied.

"You see... The only person that can take me there is you! The brave adventurer of Teyvat!" he exclaimed.

(Liar! And don't even try to put me on the spot! I-It won't work...) Lumine screamed inside her.

"Em... It's fine I guess. But I don't have the knowledge to journey to Snezhnaya." She rebuked.

"Don't worry I know where it's located." A knowledge he got from another Fatui Harbinger. The now gone Balladeer.

"Then why the hell do I need to come with you then?!" She wasn't able to take it anymore and erupted in dismay.

"Because you're an ambassador of Inazuma now? You know, the Inazuma is your new home thingy..." The schemer answered with an annoying smirk. Annoying for his current target, at least.

(He got me! This bastard tricked me again! ...But this is also a chance for me to know him more...) The devils, Dainsleif and Shuten's words of temptation, were ringing in her mind.

"Wait! If you're going, what will happen to Inazuma?!" Ayaka wasn't able to keep her silence anymore.

"It's fine, everything would be fine. The current Inazuma has a lot of capable leaders. It won't crumble that easily." Lu dismissed it as a joke.

"Sure... But!-"

"And it's not like I'm leaving right away. Are you gonna miss me that much Ayaka~?" He shut her down with a tease.

"I-I'm... I don't know anymore! Moron!" The princess left the room in a tantrum.

"I shall take my leave too, your majesty." Ayato excused himself and hurried to his sister's side. Thoma also stood up and bowed before leaving.

"I think it's time for us to excuse ourselves too, boss..." An irritated Shinobu left too, but only after informing the other oni.

"I don't know what the hell is happening, but I trust you big boss!" A slightly drunk Itto said his goodbye in a fumbling pose and followed Shinobu.

"Dontcha think we should greet the people below too, Chiyo?" Yoimiya read the room and suggested to the brocon oni.

"Sure. What about you Makoto?" Chiyo added.

"I'll come over later. The two of you should go first~..." The former archon replied in an indiscernible expression. Now, only the key figures, except the onis was left in the room.

"Now then... Anyone wants to join me and Lumine?" Lu proposed an invite.

"I'm definitely coming! The journey wouldn't be complete without a guide! Which is me-"

"No you won't~... Little Paimon would want to stay with me right~." Shuten hugged the flying creature tightly, to the point where it had no choice but to agree.

"I'll pass. I am currently enjoying my stay in Inazuma." Dainsleif seconded.

" "I shall go!" " The two chief priestesses stood up simultaneously.

"I won't permit it. Both of you have big responsibilities in Inazuma. The shrines' renevation and stuff... Remember?" Orihime shut them both up with a reasonable statement.

"Naturally, I won't go either. There is a need for someone to watch over these two." Lu sent a grateful nod to the Kitsune. She had always gotten the short stick when it came to responsibilities, mostly staying at Mt. Yougou in her entire life.

"The Tenryou Commision would be busy with the new changes so we're not participating." Reizenbou spoke for the tengus. The amount of vision users will only increase from now on. And they need a proper system to manage that.

"Our Nation of Eternitg would still need a ruler while you're gone, so I'm staying." Ei stated.

"Me too..." Makoto agreed absentmindedly.

"It seems like it will only be the two of us for this journey, Lumine. Do look forward to it~..." Lu didn't give the poor girl a break, but he did give her a breakdown due to his words.

"It seems like the rumors about your majesty are true." Childe chuckled.

"What rumors? Am I that famous now?!Nothing less from myself!!!" The deity laughed with him after a narcissistic note. Everyone only deadpanned at his usual antics.

"Can I receive your answer now, your majesty?" The visitor waited for an answer.

"Tell her that I and Lumine would come when the time is right. So please do your best to prepare for it~." Before the fatui could argue, he immediately disappeared from their sight.

Everyone then started to leave after a good laugh. The amount of disrespect their deity had was enormous... Or maybe that's just his way of saying that his status was comparable to an Archon.

Either way, the fifth was now mostly empty. Some proceeded to the lower floors, while some had gone on their own agendas. Like how Raiden Lu took Lumine with him because the latter said she had something important for him.

"...Ei-chan... Can we talk for a bit?" A mysterious Makoto approached the last person left.

Only the twin sisters would know of what had happened after their celebration.
