Fireworks Festival 1

I woke up to see a different ceiling, something I got used to in these past few days. The two sisters are currently bonding with each other, so I'm currently staying in a guest room with someone else.

I looked to my side, to see a new beautiful girl snuggling in my arms. I swear, it's like I'm back in my trials to become a practitioner with this amount of restraint I needed. I moved my right hand to wake up the oni, but that didn't happen, since her eyes suddenly opened by itself. She continued staring at me for a while, so I just decided to do what was in my mind earlier.

"Good morning, Chiyo." I greeted her, as I used my hand to pat her head.

"Good morning to you too, nii-sama. What are your plans for today?! You should take a break, you've been on your workshop ever since our latest gathering." She replied with many expressions, while making herself comfortable at my hand.

"I will, and you should take a break too. You have been following me everywhere after all. I also want some personal time to tend to my needs." I said frankly to the oni, her being behind me 24/7 was creepy, but I won't say that.

"As your sister, It's my duty to help with anything you need." She declared with a mysterious smile.

"....Are you sure you're fine with anything, Chiyo?" I whispered in a teasing tone to test her, getting closer to her in the process.

"........ I'm... fine with it..." She answered in a weak voice, turning her head away from my stare while blushing.

'What's with this reaction?!! Is that siblings thing a fake, or is it a cultural misunderstanding?! A plan perhaps? No, Chiyo might be a genius, but she never made something like a plan, an oni thing or something...' With those thoughts, I quickly tried to find a way out of this situation.

"A break would definitely be good! I know! There will be a fireworks festival later at night, how about it Chiyo?" I suggested fixing the weird atmosphere. I remembered her intrigue with fireworks, so there might be someone out there who could talk to her about it. 

'I'll be able to get my personal time with this. The next one would be my sister-in-law. Our relationship is quite awkward since we had minimal interactions in the past, then suddenly Ei and I became a thing..... I'll get to that once I'm there!' With a few quick talking to myself, I waited for the oni to answer.

"Yes, we should go later nii-sama! I'm excited for it!" I sighed in relief, after hearing her response.

"I have a request Lu, so hear me out okay?" She suddenly added. I only nodded my head in response.

"Teach me a stealth ability later, Ei told me that you have a lot of strange abilities!" She stated her request immediately, after seeing me nod.

"Sure, I don't see the reason not to. It will also help you later when you want to roam Inazuma peacefully." I answered with a smile, with a bit of hesitation.

'My instincts warned me that it might be a bad idea, but how can I refuse when I just fixed the mood?!' I wasn't able to see her expression after that, but I saw her pump her fist while leaving hurriedly from the room.

Chiyo left me alone to prepare herself for later, so I decided to go to my workshop and continue my creation for the vessel of Orihime. This one is quite special, since the condition of her soul is pretty severe.

She lost not just a lot of her powers as a yokai, but also her memories from the cataclysm. I had no choice but to make a specific vessel, as she is pretty much a wandering spirit right now, bordering between life and death. I was completely focused on my work, so I didn't notice anyone coming inside the workshop.

"It's time for our promised date, nii-sama! Let's go to the festival!" Chiyo exclaimed in her usual energetic voice. I turned my head to the voice of the oni wearing the clothing she used as a general.

"You look beautiful, Chiyo. Shall we go?" I said with my usual smile to the flushed oni, opening my eyes fully to examine her. I definitely didn't expect she still had that old outfit. Maybe Ei helped her fix it since it looked as good as new.

Seeing her nod shyly, I quickly changed to my former disguise, since most of the people who saw me that day were from the resistance anyway. She immediately scanned me and nodded in satisfaction. I immediately teleported us after noticing her agreement.

We arrived at an empty street in Inazuma City, as I led her to our first destination. On our way, a lot of people noticed us and couldn't help but stare as we passed through. I hid Chiyo's horns with my illusions, but it definitely doesn't hide her beauty and her regal attire for the occasion. 

After walking for a while silently along the bustling city to enjoy the scenery, I gestured for her to stop in front of a house. Standing near it was an old man. I went forward to the old man to ask about something, but I didn't expect to come back to Chiyo immediately.

"It looks like the person I'm looking for is at the festival currently. How about we enjoy ourselves for now at the venue?" I asked the oni, and she nodded with excitement in response.

We enjoyed the festival throughout the night, with me leading her to the new things that the Inazuma now have. If there's anything that didn't change, then it would be the beautiful nature of this island. 

Though I think she enjoyed herself more subtle touches here and there, getting as close as she could with every chance. As time passed by on our so-called date with her, the more I had doubts on her intentions. I enjoyed every moment of it, of course, leaving this budding problem to the future me. We were currently on our way back, when I saw some familiar faces in the distance.

'Isn't that Lumine and Paimon? And who is that girl they're walking with? Hmm... No matter what happens... it would be fun nonetheless... So?! Why not?!' With those thoughts and a decision I came to, I guided Chiyo towards the others.
