A Beast Hunter

(Mc's POV)

I sat down, after finishing my marvelous performance in our goodbyes. It was simply flawless. There was no way they would figure out that I was faking my disappearance. I laughed weakly as I await my death, a real one this time. I pushed myself too much to even have a chance to survive.

"What do you think you're doing? Hmmmmm?" I was frozen, when I suddenly heard a voice. Soon, I heard footsteps coming near me. What appeared in front of me was a young girl, so beautiful that anyone who would see it would assume it was fake.

'Don't get mislead though! This guy! Yeah, it's a guy on the inside of that body! What in tarnation is this joke, that even I haven't thought of it before!' I exclaimed in my mind. Good thing I'm not into young girls. At the very least, I don't prefer them as someone immortal.

"Heh! Did I leave a hint without noticing?" I asked the young girl named Vinci-chan.

"Not really, I just got curious about you saying that you qualify as a grand caster candidate at our parting. I immediately scanned you and found an error in the system." she said calmly, oblivious that she had ruined my final performance.

"Then, since you are already here, what do you want to know? Think of it as parting words of a dying man." I said with my usual smirk while opening my eyes for a bit.

"Nothing much really, but first can you remove the magic that is faking your state by setting up an illusion?" The lady asked so I responded. I disabled the illusion for her to see a body riddled with holes everywhere. Anyone who would see it would definitely ask me how I am still alive.

"Yeah..... No way you would be fine after using such a large scale magic consecutively." she said solemnly after seeing my state.

"So what now?" I questioned the young ma- lady.

"How did you survive and came upon this place?" replied a curious lad- man. Waking myself up from my thoughts, I looked straight at the gir- guy in front of me.

"After defeating the kitsune Daji, as you've known from my story. I didn't know what to do anymore, but I felt inside me that there's still a duty for me to fulfill. So after faking my death, I traveled the world with my immortal body until the bleaching happened." I quickly told my story to her in a nostalgic tone. It was definitely a fun adventure.

"One day, suddenly the world was bleached white. With my few powers left, I was able to save some. After that I began my journey to fulfill my duty and came upon this Sanctuary. I am definitely satisfied with this ending so don't worry about me." After finishing my tale, I waited for he- him to finish his thoughts.

"So you aren't a servant after all!" she exclaimed as if she knew all along. I suddenly felt like wanting to punch this person. Now I understand why they say most geniuses are weirdos, here I thought I was weird enough.

"After all that I said, that's the first thing that came into your mind?! Nevermind, since you are here that means the others are probably watching." I exclaimed in a tired voice, before waiting for a bit. I didn't need to wait long as I saw a hologram appear before me. Reflected in it are the Chaldeans I journeyed with.

"As your companion and your strategist for a while, I will now give you my final lesson!" I said with a serious look, as I opened my eyes fully. They stared at me with the same seriousness, anticipating my next words.

"Make sure to not overwork yourselves.... It isn't good for your body." I lectured with my usual smile.

Hearing the rowdy laughter around me, I can't help but think that going out with surrounded by your companions' smiles is as good as going out with a bang. With those last thoughts, I slowly closed my eyes and fell into darkness.

(Canon - Ei's POV)

I waited silently for the resurrection to finish, anticipating his return. I stared at the smoke dissipating, then I saw a man that gave me the same vibe as him but looked differently.

"What the hell is this pain?! I have experience with my mind getting flooded with information but this hurts too much!" exclaimed the man while clutching his head in pain.

"More than two millenias of memory huh. No wonder it hurts as much as that time when I got ordered to do a deicide." He looked around his surroundings before landing at me, his eyes reflected in recognition.

"I have a lot to say right now... You've definitely made a lot of problems for me to fix Ei, but for now... I'm back." Hearing those words of his and that usual damned smile he had, I quickly ran towards him and hugged him. He carefully caressed my head, and with that action I knew it was him.

"What do I do now?! You even brought me back in my prime. How will you take responsibility for your actions, Ei?" He said those words with a smirk and slightly opened eyes, as his hands lifted my chin to look straight at him.

"Take me." I said while looking straight into his eyes, before undressing to make sure he understood that he couldn't refuse this one.

(Mc's POV)

'Of course I accepted! If I didn't then I wouldn't be a man.' I thought as I looked at her snuggling in my arms. While I was in my thoughts, I suddenly remembered something important.

"If I recall correctly, there should be a new kitsune in The Narukami Shrine right?" I asked Ei beside me.

"What?! Are you interested in her?" she questioned loudly before staring at me with blank eyes.

'What's with this reaction?! I just wanted to make sure I didn't come here on a duty relating to a kitsune! I had enough with my last two experiences already!' I thought quickly before resolving myself. I'm about to do something stupid, but I'll believe in my guts and deductions. My pride as a tactician is on the line here.

"And If I am?" I replied with a smirk, but inside I'm panicking on my decision. Good thing it didn't take long before she gave me an answer. She moved and sat on my stomach before looking blankly at me.

"Then all I need to do is to make sure that I fill most of the spots in your heart." She said with a seductive voice while licking her lips, before caressing my face with her hand.

"What should I call you now, husband? Since with your ressurection, you awakened the memories of your past identity." she asked in a sensual tone.

"Hmmmmm..... Since you already called me your husband, I would be called Raiden Lu! Lu Shang is the name I used when I am nothing but a common man." I exclaimed to her with my usual smirk.

Not being able to control herself anymore, she took my lips again, starting another dance of passion.

'Did I job change from hunting beasts to subjugating crazy women when I got ressurected?!'

'Now that I think about it..... What's the difference?! Haha!'
