A beautiful dancer

Eight seasons passed, and Inazuma was flocking with tourists from other lands because, in less than a week, a grand festivity was ongoing.

The festival name is the Shogun's Divine Call, and it's celebrated every year. During the Archon War, many gods perished, and it's said that from their ashes the Shogun received her authority directly from Celestia. During that period, the people of that time started a festival even during a storm, that went on for three days, until the now Electro Archon decided to make her first decree as Inazuma's God.

And so, ever since then, this became probably one of the best if not Inazuma's most grandiose festivities. Then, during the last moments of the festival, her eternal excellence will come out of Tenshukaku to make a speech and enjoy the festivities before returning.

I am now making preparation regarding my work during the festival itself, as I already used a peculiar method to contact the Shogun to at least observe me, and I'm pretty sure that while I didn't get a return message, she sure took notice.

It isn't every day that you can get the secrets of a powerful clan nowadays.

And so I'm on my way to the general store. My plan is to dance... yes, dancing to attract the attention of a god... Romantic in a sense, after all, the ritual dance I will perform, the Hinokami Kagura was a dance made by a god to make a goddess leave a cave...

And while I am sure that the Kagura is good, in the set of memories I received about it, there was no mention of a god... so it was probably something from my old world...

It made me quite curious. Were there also gods like the Archons in my old world? Really curious...

Anyway, I was going towards Tsukumomono Groceries, the general shop run by Aoi, a really gentle lady that often gave the orphanage a discount on necessities that they need. And while they only went for the usual two or three things, she made us remember that the shop's name, Tsukumomono, means 'having almost everything, so she has quite a large selection of materials anyone could need.

And so, I was directly in front of her, while dressed as my other persona, the Kagura Dancer Kamado. I was dressed in a long-sleeved dark brown dress with golden and red flames and purple strings of lightning, a Blindfold with the kanji of Fire, with a seven-branched wooden sword. Also, I wear two hanafuda earrings, one with a red sun, and the other with a blue crescent moon, and a few little chimes around my body that made a sound every time I moved

Yeah, it was an absolute eye-catching outfit, but who cares. In a way I will be the star of this festival for the first time, I had to be like that.

"Tsukumomono Groceries. All your wishes granted in this one place"

I took a paper in my pocket with written on it 'I'd like to make a purchase. As what basically would be a future shinobi and a mole for the other clans, having them think that I am mute would be double beneficial for me. It will also add an air of mystery that is really cool and helpful for obtaining the temporary love of both young and older women if you know what I mean...

Aoi checked the paper, and she told me directly, "What would you like to purchase?"

I then took another paper with written on it 'Ritual torches'

She looked at it and after telling me 'Please wait a moment' she retreated to the store inside, and after a bit, she returned with five different types of torches.

I carefully examined them one by one, and finally chose the last one, as it was tall and had also the option to be impaled on terrain, and with a candle that could burn for half a day without problems. I took ten of them, and also another sixty candles. I needed only fifty, but hindsight is 20/20, and while the price was quite big, I had a little money on me, so it was a no-brainer.

And so, with a full load of items in my hand, I went to the clearing on the side of the principal Commercial Road and started to implant them on the ground in a circular way.

Finished that, I sat down in the dead center of my circle, and started to wait.

Tomorrow was the grand day of my first debut in the grand scheme. Errors are not to be permitted.
