51 The art of... What?!

The person Fischl encountered was one of her only friends, Bennett.

He is one of the few young adventurers of the Mondstadt Adventurers' Guild, he is always plagued with inexplicable bad luck.

Bennett is also the only active member of his own adventure group, known as Benny's Adventure Team, after all the other members decided to "take leave" following a series of unfortunate incidents. As a result, the team is currently on the verge of being dissolved.

Being unable to break the poor boy's heart, Katheryne of the Adventurers' Guild has kept "Benny's Adventure Team" on the books, whilst also hiding from him the fact that all the other members have long since officially left the team.

And now, he's also doing his daily commissions in Wolvendom. Though, because his teammates are still "On leave", he was out on his own.

Well, it's not like it's the first time.

Bennett, who was blown away by an exploding barrel that contains pyro slimes, saw the Fischl who was walking with Oz.

His eyes gleamed as he smiled. "Oh, Fischl! What are you doing here?"

Fischl was at a momentary loss for words when she was her friend. She then sighed as she looked at his current state. 'His clothes are even burning...'

She then responded to his question. "If it not be mine friend, oh the ever-so adventurous Benny that wanders as a brave soul. I dare to ask, are thou burning passion that stems from the very firey pits of Purgatory that intense to ignore the intense burns inflicted by the flaming demons?"

"Uhmmm... What?" Bennett asked with a smile as he scratched his face.

Just then, Oz spoke. "Mein Fräulein means: You're injured and full of wounds, why are you ignoring them?"

Hearing Oz, Bennett laughed as he cleaned himself after being blown away into an area of mud. "Haha, I'm fine. Really. Just a few more bandages and healing then I'll be A-Okay. Just another day for adventure, after all!"

Fischl just looked at her friends with a deadpan expression before speaking again. "Oh, how foolish thou are."

She then reached for her handbag and took out some bandages. She then gave it to Bennett. She would occasionally bring these bandages because, at times, she would see a seriously injured Bennett.

"Haha, sorry for the trouble." Bennett said with a slight laugh before accepting the bandages.

Fischl didn't say anything and looked where he was blown off. She saw that it was a Hilichurl camp, but on the sides, some dead wolves were laying down.

"How curious. What have thou been doing out here in the realm of the Wolves? If I remember, you should be adventuring in the Stormbearer mountains."

Bennett finished covering his wound and burn marks with the bandage and returned it to Fischl and thanked her before answering. "Well, you see, after I completed my patrol in the Stormbearer Mountains, I heard some people say something about trouble appearing here in Wolvendom. So, I got curious."

Fischl then looked at him with the same deadpan expression and replied. "Is what thou said the truth?"

She knows too well when her friend is hiding something.

And at this moment, Bennett felt like he was caught red-handed. 'I knew I can't lie through her... After all, she is the Prinzessin Der Verurteilung that came from beyond... She's also omniscient so she knows that I lied...'

Oh, and yes, Bennett fully believes Fischl's claims and does not question them one bit. He truly believes she's from another world.

Feeling like he was seen through, Bennett confessed. "Alright, I lied. I know someone that lives with the wolves here in Wolvendom... So when I heard that there was trouble, I quickly came to help."

Fischl hummed and asked, "Hmp, if it be so, then this Prinzessin shall accompany thou." She said as she walked past him

Hearing that she would help him, Bennett immediately got happy. "Really?! Thank you so much!"

She then looked at the dead wolves and got curious. "Well then, explain what is happening."

Bennett thought for a moment before nodding and answering. "Let's meet up with my friend, Razor!"

"Razor?" Fischl felt like she had heard that name before.

Meanwhile, in Igarashi's shop.

Seeing the new notifications being sent to him, Igarashi curled up a smile. 'A Chuunibyō reading a manga is like a cat sniffing catnips.'

'They never had them before but once get in contact, they'll love it. After all, a Chuunibyō is not complete without a manga...' He added.

He was now past his cringing moment and moved on to a far better life by forcefully forgetting his Chuuni Days. It worked, but partially.

Anyways, he was now chilling in his shop in Mondstadt. There's no customer yet and he was thinking if he should send out Sasori for customers again.

He only had two mangas in Mondstadt: Violet Evergarden and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

He was already busy making Death note and Weathering with you, but he felt like he needed to make JoJo. Some part of him felt like it needed to be so while another part did it because it wants Fischl to read it.

In the end, he and Sasori spent half an hour making a 20-page manga as the first chapter. And yes, half an hour is all it took to do it. That's how fast he did it.

Probably because of his stats. And speaking of stats, despite the system upgrade, it still won't upgrade to the next level. It was just stuck at the A+ level and the stat upgrade points stopped adding up.

'Now what should I do...?' Igarashi though. He really wants to publish many manga. But with the lack of manpower, it was technically placing more burden on himself.

Just then, his eyes lit up. 'Oh right... I still haven't checked the Main Quests...'

He forgot.

So, he opened the system interface and clicked the quest option. From there, another system appeared, and the quests placed in different categories were shown.

Igarashi clicked on the main quests and the system tab for it appeared.

"..." Igarashi was perplexed as he looked at the new main quests he got. 'The art... Of Khemia?!'

He was familiar with this type of alchemy art. No, erase that, who in the Genshin Impact fandom that loves digging for lore doesn't know the art of Khemia?

It was the very same art that brought Khaenri'Ah to destruction!

The alchemist known as Rhinedottir was the one that brought ruin to Khaenri'Ah and attracted Celestia's wrath!

The reasons are because she unlocked the alchemy to life! She formed a living, breathing, and most importantly, real being to life. Those two beings are none other than the Dragon of Calamity, Durin, and the Chalk Prince, Albedo!

'The alchemist formula to creating life...' Igarashi had to admit. It was a very tempting offer. But was it really worth it? If he ever so makes a living being like Albedo from using this forbidden art, Celestia would send down a giant pillar down his shop.

'...' After thinking for a few more minutes, Igarashi finally came to a decision. 'As long as I don't frequently use it... It should be fine, right?'
